4 out of 5 eggsgreat navi

Pros: I had 765T(stolen) for 2 great in Europe and Canada.
I hope this will do this same as a this same model but just without Bluetooth.
works(both 765T& 755T) with Kingston 16GB SDHC Class 4 or Patriot 16GB SDHC Class 6 cards(mp3 music).
super easy map update/instalation.

Cons: not to many important for me.
after 02/14/11 no more Free GPS case w/ purchase!
FM transmitter can be drowned by radio stations, but you can always use Headphone jack/audio line-out.
touchscreen make me confusing from time to time - need to use nails sometime, but after 2 years screen looks like new!

Other Thoughts: of course there is no Bluetooth!(read spec on garmin site first!!)
can show you the highway the way you actually see it yourself(not important) - I get that few times.
this is On the Road product...I dont care about battery life(2h).

5 out of 5 eggsUsed & Tested by an EMT

Pros: I used this in the FDNY 911 system where I worked on a ambulance, and this got me to every call that I did not know the location of, off the top of my head. It was also great when I was relocated to Manhattan for a day where it worked in the big city (but I stopped using it about half way during the tour because I started to understand how the city streets where laid out.) I stored all hospitals (over 100 destinations) within it's memory and sorted the most used hospitals at the top. It is a great unit!

Cons: Battery life is only around 3 hours, the touch screen really should be used with a stylist.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little Garmin

Pros: always Works great, accurate directions, keeps me from getting lost when I'm traveling to a new town. updates work great, when you want to detour it will recalculate a new route within complaints. Great visual clarity for such a small unit, I like this thing when traveling to new destinations, makes handheld maps obsolete. Easy to update by PC too.

Cons: none really, occasionally you will end up in a traffic mess b4 it warns you (like in L.A.) but thats kinda unavoidable when they happen instantaneously all over town during pm rush hour so I don't blame the garmin 755t but it will still suggest alternate routes when you do. just buy it, you'll be glad on your next trip.

Other Thoughts: This is a must have for traveling to new locations.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat Unit

Pros: Super easy GUI, Lifetime Traffic, 3D Buildings, Custom POIs, down-loadable firmware and software updates. 60-day map guarantee

Cons: Touchscreen (but has been fixed with a new version of the firmware [see below])

Other Thoughts: With the recent firmware upgrade, this is an outstanding unit. Prior to the upgrade the touchscreen was very poor. Most keys on the keyboard would mis-hit and even the larger menu buttons were sketchy at times. Now though, it works like a charm. In fact, today I ordered another unit for the other car.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far awesome

Pros: I got this because it had the traffic update, i live and work in boston and my commute around this black hole is sometimes not so fun. I have no issues with the unit it boots up and gets satellites in no time. Traffic is normally correct( you cant fault it for accidents that just happened). Overall im happy with it.

Cons: It didnt come with a carry case...?

Other Thoughts: I got the lifetime updates from garmin and the clearchannel traffic alerts just because i could, and they are also wonderful.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat GPS

Pros: Works well. Lane assist is great. Lots of map upgrade options (you get 1 free map upgrade when you first open the box).

Cons: Sometimes gets confused when I start navigating while the car is still underground; once above ground, my car teleports for a while.

Other Thoughts: Great mount. It has the nice rubber finish - like the ThinkPad paint =)

5 out of 5 eggsGarmin is the best

Pros: Lane assist, 3D, large storage capacity for waypoints. It boots quickly and traffic assist works well. Garmin support is the best.

Cons: Dash board disk becomes unglued in the summer heat. I have just purchased two more and hope they will work better.

Other Thoughts: I have now owned three Garmin GPSs and they have the best navigation software. The units being produced today are easy to use and very accurate. Updating software and maps can be time consuming but are necessary is you depend on the unit. Garmin offers a lifetime map upload which is a great deal.
