5 out of 5 eggsAwsome!!

Pros: I love this game, there are lots of pros on it, just play it and you´ll see.

Cons: It´s not free. :D

Other Thoughts: Someone says it´s a copy of Godof War, but it´s not the history of Dante is real.

4 out of 5 eggsWorth of Its Name!

Pros: The story is probably the best I've ever seen in a video game. It's simple yet cleverly reveals itself as you descend through the circles of Hell. Unlike Bayonetta's story (which progresses the same way), this one makes sense all the way through, and is actually interesting--in fact, it is incredibly faithful to the spirit of the actual literary work.

The environments are quite disturbing (this is Hell!). Very detailed.

RPG-type character development system. You get quite a bit of customization in regards to abilities. Choosing carefully will build you a Scythe-swinging knight of destruction who's almost untouchable.

Cons: Gameplay is a little average. The platforming elements of the game are frustrating, since you can't adjust the camera at all. Also obnoxious is that if you're chasing collectibles and die before you hit a checkpoint, you have to go back and get the collectibles again (Tomb Raider doesn't do this); further, you can only save at specific save points, not at any checkpoint. Otherwise, the checkpoints are placed pretty well.

Enemies are out of place, as well. The unbaptized infants that are supposed to be in Limbo only show up in deeper circles. In fact, past the 3rd circle (Gluttony), there's nothing new. It's like they were hurried (or out of money to pay a creative thought team) and just decided to reuse the same sprites to save time/money.

A little short. I completed it in 10 hours.

Other Thoughts: It also reminded me tremendously of the end of the movie Se7en. It might have to do with that the Circles of Hell contain many of the seven deadly sins, but this is still a good thing.

3 out of 5 eggsGameInformer was right..

Pros: It has a cool story to it, even if it wasn't an original plot.

Cons: The gameplay is very repetitive, the puzzles are nothing special at all, and the game is very short. It has very little replay value as well. I think the game in entertain long enough to get through most of it, but it gets boring before you finish it.

Other Thoughts: As GameInformer stated "Hells needs more good ideas." Now, I assumed they were being narrow minded and this would actually be a great game. But after playing it I can see they are right. INot worth $60, maybe after it drops to <$30. But it's worth a rent for the easy achievements, maybe...

5 out of 5 eggsSuper good.

Pros: Super good, like any 3d castlevania, and like GD of WAR, full details in pretty much all.

Enjoy it

Cons: None untill now.

Other Thoughts: Buy it now.

5 out of 5 eggsBlown Away!

Pros: I actually picked this up on a whim and I am so glad I did. The gameplay is a lot of fun - the graphics and sound is unreal and amazing. I am blown away every time I play the game. The levels are challenging but not ridiculously so - I've had the game for 2 days and I am hooked. A MUST OWN if you are debating...

Cons: Not a game for children. I have a 5 and 7 year old who enjoy watching daddy play games sometimes - the early levels in this game are a bit scary for them but not too bad. Once you go to "Lust" they have to leave the room for sure.

Other Thoughts: Great game - great graphics - 5 stars

4 out of 5 eggsGreat game.

Pros: GREAT Game. Very reminiscent of Devil May Cry + G*d Of War with a splash of Onimusha mixed in. Have only been playing for a few hours but still a very good game. Great graphics, great gameplay, ease of control. Definitely a worthwhile investment.

Cons: Non so far. Load times are very fast, no lag. Story is actually fairly accurate to biblical with the exception of Dante being a knight/paladin instead of a poet.
