Now he's back and it's time for things to be put right. The streets of Liberty City are in turmoil. Warring Mafiosi vie for control as the town begins to self-destruct under waves of political corruption, organized crime, drug trafficking and union strikes. No one can be trusted as Toni tries to clean up the mess of the city's chaotic underworld. Deranged hit men, morally depraved tycoons, cynical politicians and his own mother stand in his way as Toni tries to bring the city under Leone control.

Forced to fight for his life in an odyssey that will shake Liberty City to its foundations, Toni must use any means necessary to secure his place in the leadership of the Leone family in a town up for grabs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Game, Terrible music

Pros: - Great Graphics for a PSP title.
- Gameplay is the same as GTA3.
- Motorcycles, Unlike GTA3, Liberty City Stores actually has Motorcycles.
- Great way to make a few hours go by fast.

Cons: - Music selection on the ingame car radios suck completely, no Rock stations, no decent oldies stations, just really bad rap and disco. Only Decent Radio Station to listen to is the one that play Classical music.

- Sony could have patched the game to have it run at the PSPs full 333 MHz (Game came out before Sony lifted the CPU cap) which would have drastically increased the framerate.
But the Framerate is barely noticeable on small screen, but very noticeable when using video cables.

But with how much this game accesses the UMD, maybe that was best not to patch it with with the PSP's already abysmal battery life.

Other Thoughts: Very good game, you would not be disappointed if you are a fan of the past games.

5 out of 5 eggsGet it now

Pros: Amazing game. Full size map of Liberty City that you know and love. The game even opens up the map in sections like the original did, just with a different twist on why. Very easy to lock on to enemies and dispatch them quickly.

Cons: The single thumbstick on the PSP has always been a complaint of mine, but I can't really hold it against this game... they have to work with what's available. Tough missions will bog you down and make you very frustrated until you luck into beating them (not really a "trick" to most of them - just luck) - i.e. that one last cop misses you before you duck into the spray paint booth, etc.

Other Thoughts: Feels like GTA III in your PSP... just a very slightly lighter version. This game is actually a prequel, set in L.C. before the events in GTA III. A lot of your stomping grounds are the same, just different names on the buildings. Very fun game.

4 out of 5 eggsSurprising

Pros: - Great graphics, especially with the scale of the city.
- Solid controls.
- Token storyline.
- Long game.

Cons: - The controls do take some getting used to.
- Frustrating missions can bog down the game.

Other Thoughts: I can't tell if this is an appropriate game for a handheld system or not. It's basically Grand Theft Auto 3 fit onto a smaller screen, and it does a fantastic job with that. But the game isn't a quick "pick-up and play" titles that you'd usually find on this kind of system. It's certainly fun, and it's amazing what they managed to do with it, just be aware that this is not a quick game.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: This is basically GTA III on the PSP. The story is different (And very entertaining), but you'll recognize some familiar faces from III. As with any GTA installment, this game contains humor, drama and only the polish Rockstar can give. There are plenty of missions and side missions to keep you entertained, but if you get bored you can always go on a killing spree and do your own thing. The graphics are amazing, they are almost as good as the PS2 version of III and the PSP fits in your hands! ITS ONLY 15 DOLLARS! Where else can you pay 15 dollars and have access to a whole city with guns, weapons, cars, prostitutes and a story line? I consider this game to be the highlight of owning a PSP, just like GTA III was the highlight of owning a PS2 before Rockstar allowed GTA to be played on the Xbox.

Cons: There are no clothing stores to customize your character's look; however, you do unlock costumes and suit sets after doing certain missions. This really isn't a con, but they could have made it a little more customized.

Other Thoughts: You won't regret buying this game at all. It runs smoothly considering how large the city is and all the people in it. For 15 dollars this is one of the best games to buy period.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Graphics look good, sounds good, gameplay is good, this is a great game and holds up to the GTA series name.

Cons: Using some of the controls can be awkward, but you can hook up a PS3 controller if you wanted to.

Other Thoughts: Buy this game you will play for hours if not days before you beat the game.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Pick

Pros: Just like the rest of the GTA series this game is full of action, adventure, and comedy. Great story which ties into GTA III. Excellent graphics for a PSP game, perhaps even better that GTA III!

Cons: I gave this a 4/5 only because it would have been nice to see some new environments. Some of the missions may seem redundant, although its not too bad if you pace yourself.

Other Thoughts: If you have played the third GTA installment you will have a lot of nostalgic moments. If you have never played any of the other Grand Theft Auto games this is a great pick, and you should consider it a 5/5. However, most people have played the previous games and are all too familiar with the formula. Also take a look at GTA: Vice City Stories also for the PSP.

5 out of 5 eggs5 bucks says your PSP's battery dies before you get bored with this

Pros: This is exactly what a PSP needs, there isn't many games that can kill time better than GTA. The controls are fine, I never have issues with them.

Cons: Nice to have new music, but then again it still gets old fast.

Other Thoughts: My other thoughts include saying this. BUY IT NOW!
