4 out of 5 eggsPlays Blurays and can sort-of use the internet.

Pros: +Plays Blurays
+Apps work
+Slim form-factor
+Has WiFi
+Feature-buttons on remote work immediately. I press the HOME button and I'm sent back to the home screen almost immediately

Cons: -WiFi seems to be pretty weak, but maybe It's just too far away from my router
-Web Browser is sloooooow

Other Thoughts: It works better some days than others. Some apps will stop streaming and close the video if the WiFi signal isn't strong enough, flawed design by the developers though, probably not Sony.

The Web Browser works, but so many websites now use image/script intensive interfaces, that loading the front page might take an entire minute. It crashed a couple times as well due to "low memory"... Know that it can't load the front webpage page of cbs

I got this to play Blurays and light-streaming. It gets a 75/100, 50/50 for playing blurays, 25/50 for half-working while streaming.

4 out of 5 eggsBest blu-ray player dollar-for-dollar!

Pros: - Size: it's tiny. Had an older Panasonic blu ray player that was easily two S3500's wide.

- Fast: it loads discs WAY quicker than our old Panasonic player did. Well worth the upgrade.

- Easy to setup and use: plug it in and a few selections later... you're up and running before you know it. Controls on the remote are easy to use and manipulate. Menu's are well laid out.

Cons: - Power supply: Because of it's dainty size... it doesn't use just a regular power cord. It comes with a wall-wart style 12v adapter. It took some re-organizing of my home theater power to get this one plugged in.

- Only one LED indicator on unit: there's only one LED indicator on the unit... when it's green, the blu ray player is on. No actual LED screen that gives you messages or current time of the movie you're watching.

Other Thoughts: This was the favorite in the WireCutter Best Blu Ray Player shoot-out and it does not disappoint. Very easy to setup and use; loads discs super quick; compact size. My only gripes are about the wall-wart style power adapter and no actual LED screen on the front. Other than that... this is my primary home theater blu ray player for the foreseeable future.
