Sometimes we all need to recharge our batteries whether we are camping, wanting to go off the grid, or are just looking to power some appliances. Our Renogy 100W Monocrystalline Bundle comes with components that you will need to expand on a system you may already have, or just need some items to complete your system. Our 100W Monocrystalline solar panel, 9in Mc4 Adaptor Kit, and 30A PWM charge controller are included. Keep in mind that this kit allows for the charge controller to be close to the solar panel so depending on your situation, you may still need an extension cable or longer wiring. 5 out of 5 eggs100w Solar Panel

Pros: Monocrystalline, appears well built, warranty

Cons: Price - These are a little more expensive than others; but, you do get what you pay for...
An MPPT controller would have been a plus.

Other Thoughts: Recommended! I'm using one panel and the charger to keep a trailer battery charged. This is a good package to get started in Solar power.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME DEAL

Pros: This is probably the best deal in solar you will find out there right now. 160 bucks gets you a 100 watt solar panel, + charge controller + mc4 cables and adapters. With free shipping. Its just unbelievable. I tested the panel when it got here, and still haven't set the whole thing up, but the thing is putting out power as advertised. I am seriously blown away by this deal. Telling all my friends about it on social media.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I will buy more of these. Newegg, you are the BEST for doing renewable energy deals like this. I hope Renogy stays a partner with you for a long time to come.

5 out of 5 eggsmistake

Pros: just wanted to post a correction in the descriptions it list the 30amp pwm charg controller can handle 120w 12v or 240w 24v well this is wrong
the 30amp PWM charg controler can handle 30amp ×12v = 360w of solar panels and at 24v can use 720w of solar panels
and I called Renogy and was told that it is safe to run max 400w 12v or 800w 24v for a single 30amp PWM charg controller becaus it is thill with in the tolerance of the charg controller

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: I have 8 of thes 100w Renogy solar panels connected in 12v with 2 30amp PWM charge controllers stacked with 4 panels conected to each
charging 14 220hr 6v cart batteries and I run just about every thing in house off of the off grid solar system just ac and fridg is on grid
I even have my water heater using 3 of thes panels connected to a 300w 12v water heater element and all my hot water is 100% solar pawer for a full 1100w of solar panels powering my dalie needs

4 out of 5 eggsA good buy for the money

Pros: It works and appears to work well.
The price is good for what you get.

Cons: None so far. Being pretty tech savvy, additional cabling will not be a problem.

Other Thoughts: At this point I've only connected it to one automotive battery and a auto tail light bulb to be sure it was going to work. I've plans for a multiple auto battery system along with an inverter.

Only with time will I know for sure just how good it is but I have high expectations.

5 out of 5 eggsSunny side up

Pros: works as described . sent there tech support a few emails with a few ? and every time the next day got email response and twice i have called and both time i got answers with very little wait time from Renogy
.
And I don't care if it takes me 5 or even 10 years to get back in savings the value of the investment i just like the fact that i am no longer 100% dependent on the power grid and my system if I need will run my frig and freezer indefinite if need and a few lights
but right now i use it to run 2 computers and 2 tv's and to charge many devices like cell and tablets every night after get home from work
to cut power company use
and my last electric bill was $54
and the independence from the grid is also why we fixed our 60 year old well when it stopped working with a new pump and pipe even tho we have city water now to the houses
and we did the repairs our self for $600 with new pump and pipe
/
Solar system is not for every one dose require up keep but if you want to get started
this single 100w panel and say 2 6v cart batteries for $89 each (4/12/14 when priced best price found at local retailer) connected in series to produce 12v
power and a good 1500w modified wave inverter
you would be surprised how long it would run some lights for emergence and charged all your cell phones and would run your internet router and at least 1 computer with screen or even better a laptop very low power consumption to conserve energy
..
At my home every time we lost power the phone and internet still worked so long as we had power to run the router
and the phone was old school that connected only to phone plug to work and if i lose power i can still watch tv and get internet now and it has worked above my expectation over the last year

if you just want to cut power bill i would go with the much more cost effective Grid Tie system but advise agents the cheep ones sold at online retailers or even Newegg and would only get a full certified one from Renogy or another good quality manufacturer
in fact i am looking at a 1kw grid tie from Renogy for my next install .
a do it your self system is very cost conservative so long as you can safely work in your power box to connect and if not just hire electrician for final connection
and i am a licensed electrician so for me the labor is cheep

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: i got this and a second 100w panel to up grade my 400w system. will have 600w by stacking 2 300w grids
this 30amp PWM charge control is identical to the one i have now with the 4 100w panels so i will run 3 panels with 1 charge controller and 3 with the new charge controls and run what they call stacking
and i will have room for 2 more 100w panels when i up grade to 800 whats with out having to buy any more charge controllers
and if i want even larger grid i can just add another charge controller with more panels so long as i keep each grid the same sises
for best performance
and right now i have 12 6v cart batteries and 1 1500w modified wave inverter
