James G. 2/13/2014 7:36:48 AM Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5Short Cables This review is from: UNITEK Y-6117 3.5” USB 3.0 2-port Front Panel Pros: This item works just fine and installed easy as it should, but giving a average rating due to cable length. Cons: Look at the cables in the picture, they are short. I installed this in a cooler master elite 430 case. This case is an average to small case. The cables were run straight across from the front to the back. There was just enough lenght in the cables to fit in the USB slots. Also, due to the cables just fitting, they are applying some stress to the USB slots. and I am abit conserned about the long term effects of this stress. Other Thoughts: I would have returned the item, but after re-paying for shipping and a restocking fee I would have been in the hole for this item. John F. 1/31/2014 5:26:42 PM Ownership: 1/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5NOT for connecting to a motherboard This review is from: UNITEK Y-6117 3.5” USB 3.0 2-port Front Panel Pros: Took it apart and now have two 2 foot usb3 extension cables (didn't feel like paying a restocking fee). Cons: Feel a bit silly about this. I didn't look at the 2nd picture in the image gallery. This product is made to run cables out the back of a computer and plug into the external rear usb3 ports to transfer them to the front of the computer. I was looking for something to plug into the usb3 header on my motherboard to add more usb3 ports. This just relocates ones you already have. Other Thoughts: It's my own fault for not looking closer. The cables themselves work fine, just not for the job I intended. oops. BTW.. the 4th picture is for a completely different product. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you?
