Features:

- Compatible with USB 3.0 Super-Speed (5Gbps), USB 2.0 Hi-Speed (480Mbps), USB 1.1 Low-Speed (1.5Mbps)

- Supports offline clone between two hard disks

- Compatible with SATA HDD/SSD, gives full play to the transmission performance

- LED indicators indicate status at any time, to see the progress of work

- Full track cloning, cloning and complete data partition

- Supports large capacity hard disk

- OS Support: All

Instructions:

1. Insert 3.5" SATA HDD / 2.5" SATA HDD / SSD into the Docking Station

2. Connect the power adapter.

3. Connect the docking station to the computer using a USB 3.0 cable.

4. Read and write the data from the HDD/SSD to the computer.

Offline clone:

Insert two HDD/SSD into the Docking Station, press the "Clone" button for about 3 seconds, until the indicator lights up, and then quickly click "Clone" button again to begin cloning. The indicator flashes in sequence, indicating the progress until cloning is complete.

Usage Tips:

- This product only supports OFFLINE Cloning, and therefore DOES NOT require or include any driver.

- Please check that the actual capacity hard disk is B > = A. The program will not be able to start clone if the system detects it as B < A.

- Offline disk cloning process prompts an error when hard disk B has previously been written into the system boot record. Cloning software does not overwrite data operation. Manually format disk B and try again.

- HDD bad sectors are likely to lead to failure of online and offline clone

- After the completion of the B disk cloning, the remaining capacity can be found in the "Computer Management > Storage Disk Management". Manage the operation of the remaining capacity

- Win XP does not recognize 2TB and higher: Windows XP can only support up to 2TB capacity, maximum. Anything that exceeds this capacity will not be recognized. Vista (64bit) or higher OS supports 2TB and above

- The cloning process will clear all the data in disk B and completely clone hard disk partition methods and data content of disk A. Our company does not undertake data damage or economic loss brought about by data loss

5 out of 5 eggsGreat tool for IT professionals!

Pros: Great tool for IT professionals. Sector by sector (thorough) cloning so its slower than cloning software, however it works perfectly every time. OSX and Windows compatible.

Cons: I own two. No problems at all.

Other Thoughts: Cloning requires identically sized drives. To clone, turn off, unplug the USB cable from the back, put the source drive in bay A (rear), destination in B (front), turn on, hold the red button until the front lights up (about 3 sec.), then tap the red button one more time to begin cloning. Cloning time: Fully loaded 3.5" drives: 1TB 3-4 hours, 500GB 1.5-2 hours.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat device

Pros: Easy to use. Quality product. I use this product everyday, and it has never failed to produce results. Copy speed it doubled from my last duplicator.

Cons: The part of the manual that actually has the content for "offline copy" is vague and it took a try or two to learn it was a two stage process. Press and hold the button and then press it again to begin the copy.

5 out of 5 eggsUnitek Y-3023 Cloning station

Pros: Works Great

Cons: Takes 2-hrs for a 1TB clone.

Other Thoughts: My wife loves her old Win XP professional computer I built her years ago, and won't change over to one of the Win7 or Win8 systems I built, so I use this Unitek cloning device to make hard drive clones for backup purposes, and it has always done a perfect job of complete cloning. It is a life saver, and a time saver. You just press the buttons as instructed and walk away until it is done. Awesome tool. I haven't tried it yet on the Win7 or Win8 systems though. Big SSD drives are still too expensive for that luxury <grin>.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Hard Drive Docking Station

Pros: Very easy to setup & use, it is USB 3.0 which takes a lot less time especially on very large drives. Light indicators shows your progress, & the clone function works great. You don't have to have your computer running to clone another drive. This is one of the best docking stations I have used in my IT Business. It saves me a lot of time on copying drives. USB 3.0 is the way to go. Highly recommend.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This docking station will save you a lot of time copying hard drives. Just make sure it is USB 3.0 because it does make the difference.
