2 out of 5 eggsWorked for a while

Pros: Small, space saving size
Wasn't DOA
Dishwasher safe

Cons: Worked only 4 times before it broke.
Unlike the higher-end rice cookers, this one will "toast" the rice on the very bottom of the pot.

Other Thoughts: This is a bare-bones rice cooker: will over cook rice on the bottom, warm function will dry out the rice in about 60-90 minutes. Mostly, it broke after 4 uses and the cost to return almost equals the cost of the rice cooker. If you can swing it, go for a better model.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat While it Lasted

Pros: Got here fast an was packed well.
using the measuring cup it came with an some lite reading made great rice every time.

It kick over from cook to warm kinda random but it was always done cooking so I count that was a win.

Cons: 32 days it stop working. no running light an its not getting warm. tried a few other plugs but it was no help.

Other Thoughts: I really enjoyed this rice cooker. It was just right nice size and was easy to clean.
I really wish it lasted longer.

Guess I'll have to dish out for a high dollar one. :(

5 out of 5 eggsSolid rice cooker

Pros: -Makes rice when you want it
-Doesn't make rice when you don't need it
-Removable cooking apparatus that is easily washable, either by hand or by automatic dish washing machine
-Comes with perfectly-fitting lid
-Two lights, one switch. Super, duper simple.
-Black & Decker makes high-caliber power tools, why not rice cookers?

Cons: -Have to measure the rice and water yourself
-Will not clean itself
-Does not respond well to criticism

Other Thoughts: This is my second rice cooker, same brand and everything. I live with three other people and we use it pretty much every day. It's a solid appliance and I really cannot find anything wrong with it, besides the fact that I've had to replace it once in three years.

Get it. It makes really good rice.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Makes rice very well. It shipped really fast. I thought it was too small but it makes the perfect amount of rice.

Cons: It does dry out the rice if left too long on warm. I was not really sure how much to water to add. I am still experimenting with this.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great right cooker, at an even better price. Cooks my rice in 15 min, then sets itself to warm mode right after, simple, effective and always accurate.

Cons: The included and the measured "cup" sizes they use are inaccurate, its closer to 3/4 of a cup. Make sure to either keep the cup around or always keep that in mind.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Little Rice Cooker

Pros: Small and perfect for a couple or small family. Rice comes out cooked perfectly!

Cons: No switch to turn on/off. Relies on plugging and unplugging from the wall for on/off

4 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: Makes rice nice and sticky perfect for sushi.

Cons: Overflows a lot.
When it says "1 cup" it refers to its own measuring tool and not a actual cup.

Other Thoughts: Wish it didn't overflow.

5 out of 5 eggsCan't complain given the price!

Pros: Easy to use; 1-touch operation
Not ugly
Non-stick rice bowl

Haven't had it boil over or fail to cook properly, yet

Cons: Rice is not as high quality as indirect heating
Rice left on "warm" gets a bit crisp on the outside after a while

Other Thoughts: This is inexpensive and handy so it's well worth the money I spent. It doesn't make the quality of rice as one would get from indirect cooking, but those cookers are more expensive and less attractive.

It's nice to be able to make rice easily and not have to watch it, and the rice is as good as you would get from a stove.

I give this 4/5 eggs for quality vs usefulness, but when considering PRICE, the value makes it a 5-egg item.
