Better than Predicted
This review is from: RCA ANT1650R Flat Digital Amplified Indoor TV Antenna
Pros: Picked up better than sources expected. I got 25 channels in my bedroom when it is 8 feet up. Great brand. Sources didn't expect me to pick up anything under these circumstances.
Cons: Hooked my converter box up to an old outdoor analog antenna and got 113 channels. Really need to be in the right spot for good reception. I couldn't get all the channels I wanted in my bedroom.
Other Thoughts: If you are considering on getting an indoor antenna, check to see if you can get a signal where you put it. A good source is TVFool.com. I tried it in my bedroom and didn't get all the channels I wanted. TVFool.com didn't show any channels that could be received at this height. It probably would have gotten more if I put this antenna in the attic higher off the ground. I will say that though I got almost five times as many channels with an old outside antenna, I got channels 4 and 5 better with this digital antenna for some reason that I can't think of. I think it is built pretty well, so I gave it a good rating. However, I wanted to make people aware so they do their homework before rushing into buying it.
