5 out of 5 eggsBest keyboard I've ever owned

Pros: Easily the nicest keyboard I've ever used or owned. Great key feel, good backlight and very solid construction. The weight makes sure there is no movement around my desk.

Even my wife, who was at first irritated with my "frivolous and unnecessary purchase", was impressed.

Cons: None other than my work doesn't permit outside input devices. If I could I'd buy another one of these keyboards for my office and replace the factory ones they stick us with.

1 out of 5 eggsHorribad

Pros: Looks cool, feels nice

Cons: Keys quit working, bad customer service, no RMA instructions

Other Thoughts: If you live in the U.S., you are gambling on this keyboard. The company who makes this is based out of Germany. The box came with no RMA instructions. The website has an RMA form to download and fill out, however it leaves no instructions on where to return it. I'm guessing it would give an address in Germany anyway. I am not paying for an RMA to Germany. I have tried emailing the company asking for a RMA address, but no response. Please, someone tell me I'm mistaken and they have a U.S. RMA site!

Pros: Sturdy, solid. heavy. Everything functions as it should. Looks great.

Cons: Can't think of any. For the price, this thing is hard to beat.

4 out of 5 eggsgerman engineered delight

Pros: heavy, well constructed. will still be going when I kick the bucket.

lighting sufficient for typing in darkness or low light condition. choice of Blue, Red, Purple and "off".

media control buttons work well. placed smartly.

Cons: very minor:
* wish it were wireless
* wish the media control keys were lighted like the rest of the keys

Other Thoughts: I was tired of my Microsoft k/b & mouse 5000 and wanted a keyboard that would let me type in low light. this one fits the ticket. choice of colors. dial controls brightness. keys a bit stiff, but I will get used to it - better too stiff than too light.

well worth the ~50 bucks

2 out of 5 eggskeys stop working

Pros: Looks cool, good feel

Cons: Certain keys stopped working after 2 weeks of use. Very frustrating to try and game, browse, work, do school work when you can't use all keys. I spent 55$ on this keyboard but now have to use a wally world special in order to type this review.

Other Thoughts: The booklet that comes with it says they offer RMA but they don't leave any contact information or directions on who to contact. I went to their website and noticed they are out of Germany. I am not paying shipping on a RMA to Germany. Stay away from this keyboard if you live in the states.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard!

Pros: The keys are not quite as tall as really old mechanical keyboards, but flat like a laptop keyboard. The backlight is really nice and for the most part is even (see cons). Media controls actually work (I have had keyboards where they don't). There are no drivers needed.

Cons: The light behind the up, down, and right arrow keys seems to have gone out (or never worked and I didn't notice). Not worth taking an egg off as I can still see it in the dark because of the surrounding lighting of the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great buy, I use it for school and games. And for the price? Definitely worth it if you're not looking for programmable buttons and macros

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: Brightness is easily changed. Very comfortable to use in your lap. Also the double stands on the backside are very useful on a desk as well. The letters have enough grip to keep my fingers from sliding off.

Cons: Anything other then the main letters doesn't get as much light.
Caps light went out first day I had the keyboard, have to wing it to figure out if it is on or off.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am pretty happy with the keyboard and would buy it again if needed.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Really nice colors and crisp key strokes. The clicks aren't very loud either so keyboard pounding doesn't over whelm other sounds.

Cons: Its personal but I felt like it was a bit small at first. My pinkys got cramped trying to reach the ctrl at first but I got used to it pretty quick and its no longer an issue.

Other Thoughts: I like it, I really REALLY wish the purple light was GREEN though.

5 out of 5 eggsPerixx PX-1100, Backlit Keyboard – nice

Pros: This is a nice hefty keyboard. It’s about three times heavier than the free Dell keyboard and the keys are solid. The size is standard for the actual keyboard but it has a lip around it so it takes up a bit more desk space. The lights are as others have described. They are brightest under the main and number pad. One thing I didn’t see anyone comment on is the right and left side lights. That was a nice surprise. I saw someone complaining about the brightness dial but is feels good to me. The purple is a bit pink and the side lights on the purple setting are red instead of purple. I’m using the keyboard with a Rosewill RKV-2UC USB KVM switch. When you switch to the other computer the color seems to stay the same but when you switch again the color changes back to the default blue. Same thing when you turn your computer on, it will be default blue. I bought it for the blue so it’s all good by me but if you want it for the red or purple be aware. FYI, the red looks really good!

Cons: I wish it had programmable keys :[

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Great

Pros: Built very solid. the back lights can be blue, red, or purple. You can even adjust how bright they are. They keys are nice and solid. I am VERY picky about my keyboards and I love this one!! I feel like I could type forever on this thing!.

Cons: None so far and I've almost had it a year!

Other Thoughts: I try to turn off the back light before I go to sleep just because I feel this thing is so sturdy the light will go before anything else will. Every key is nice and responsive. I like keyboards that require a a good bit of force (reasonably) to push and this one is perfect. It isn't so light that as soon as you set your hand on the keys you type random letters and it isn't so hard that you get tired fast. Overall it is a great keyboard and I recommend that you buy it if you want a nice sturdy keyboard for a good price!
