3 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: Cheap
Tiny
Works

Cons: Very poor range

Other Thoughts: If your access point is in the same room, or maybe the next room, and you want to save money, you can't get any cheaper than this. And it works.

If you are trying to connect to neighbor's wireless across the street, this is a terrible choice.

Mine lasted about a month -- I had it hanging out the window on a USB extension cord, and one day it rained and shorted something out. Luckily my computer wasn't damaged, but the adapter smells funny and doesn't work now. I will be replacing it with a more expensive one that has an external antenna.

1 out of 5 eggsBIGGEST PICE OF CR*P EVER

Pros: ZIP

Cons: I put it in right when I got it expecting a plug n play. Downloading the drivers was HELL. The drivers from the disk was easy but it sent my computer into a blue screened boot loop till i took the disk out. the piece its self got extremely hot even though it was ventilated AND by the fan. It took over 5 minutes to load Google when ethernet cable took less then 10 seconds. I assumed the drivers on the disk were out of date. So I went to the website to get the most recent drivers. WHAT A WAST OF TIME. the site was impossible to navigate, half of the links were broken. after about 20 Minutes of use it disconnected from the WiFi and couldn't reconnect. 2 minutes later it died.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. I expected a $6 card. i was extremely disappointed. THIS ISN'T WORTH YOUR TIME.
