Well protected. Worked right out of the box. Cons: NONE Other Thoughts: I have one of those tv's where you want to kill the engineer. Plugging in a cable is stressful and tedious. Now with this adapter its a strait line shot. No more trying to get the cable in to a port you cant see. I see no difference in the quality of the picture. I was concerned about that.
