5 out of 5 eggsImpressive!

Pros: ZERO dead/stuck pixels, extremely bright. Color calibrated, not to bad out of box. Blows my 2 other 1080p's out of the water. Others have complained about the stand being cheap, plug and manual being Korean but come on, who buying from Newegg doesn't have a spare power cord laying around and actually reads the manual :). BUY IT

Cons: none as of writing this.

Other Thoughts: Ordered on Saturday from MNW GLOBAL, at my door waiting for me on Tuesday to Missouri!

5 out of 5 eggsA Slice of Amazing

Pros: Arrived quickly, looks great, no dead/stuck pixels. No noticeable response lag. Honestly the greatest looking monitor I've set eyes on. Great for movies, gaming, working on documents/code side-by-side, and pretty much everything else you can do with a monitor. Seriously, it's a great buy.

Cons: Enclosure is cheap, only a single DVI input, no OSD controls (that I know of). The buttons on the monitor control brightness and volume. I would read the manual to see if there's a combination of buttons but I don't read Korean.

Other Thoughts: Very satisfied so far, only had it for a little while but from other reviews, I have high hopes for longevity.

Included AC power cable is Korean. It does come with a travel adapter but I recommend using a standard North American cable if you have one as it reduces bulk on crowded surge protectors.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing shipping!!!

Pros: Price is cheap due to brand name, uses the same PLS that Samsung uses. Amazing picture, blows 1920x1080 out of the water in comparison. The stand doesn't seem all that cheap like others state, just a big monitor so it does wiggle some if bumped.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This Korean company ships faster than any US companies, it's free shipping!

4 out of 5 eggsa Korean power adapter? and a manual in Korean? seriously?

Pros: A good enough monitor that it only loses 1 egg for absolute obnoxiousness of the presentation. A brilliant picture, I have my new Qnix 27" next to a 23" Asus monitor and the difference is obvious. Good packaging, a nice thick plastic envelope and also a plastic covering to protect the monitor surface.

Cons: Obnoxious presentation, by which I mean things like: the power adapter is for a Korean outlet, this is annoying even with an American outlet coupler provided. The manual is 100% Korean, and I actually read manuals. The stand is shaky and flaky.

Other Thoughts: If you are a crazy techie who wants to pay a very reasonable price for a great looking 27" monitor, you might quickly get over the cons and be very happy with this monitor.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Incredible brightness, contrast and color!

Cons: Dark levels are somewhat diminished with bright ambient light. Most people would never notice and it's still an amazing picture in bright ambient light.

5 out of 5 eggsQnix 27" QHD

Pros: Pros:
Nice viewing angles
No dead pixels
Sharp resolution
Minimal color variance
No bleed through
No noticeable blur or ghosting

Cons: Cons:
Bezel is rather plain looking
Stand is somewhat lacking. Though not as bad as you would think after reading some of these reviews.
Speakers are bad. Seriously. Don't use them.

Other Thoughts: In my opinion, at the price point this monitor is competing at it is a no-brainer. I will be buying two more to replace my old samsung 2770s for some sweet sweet eyefinity candy.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy It!

Pros: Awesome screen. I really like the pixel density and color of this monitor. I'm seated about 18" away from this beauty, but the picture (though big) is not overwhelming. The resolution even at this distance is quite impressive.

I bought the "Pixel Perfect" (no-dead-pixel guaranty, so I wouldn't have to hassle with sending this back to Korean for a replacement) and it was exactly as advertised. There wasn't a single pixel out of place in nearly 3.7M.

Others had reported light-bleed in the lower right of the screen, but my monitor didn't exhibit this behavior. People did remedy this by stuffing paper in there, but I didn't have to do any of this. The video for the fix is available on YouTube.

I previously had two 19" monitors, so I was worried that replacing them with one monitor would limit my screen real estate. That's not the case at all and I'm very comfortable in the new setup. I do a of multi-application work on screen at once by docking in Win7 (photoshop, visual studio, netflix etc). This screen fits all of those needs and give me more usable space than before.

Cons: Okay time to be critical.

The included user manual is in Korean, and there about three English words in the entire thing.

Setup was easy regardless, but I don't like that there is a separate power connector for the monitor. I wish this was reduced to an IEC power connector directly into the monitor and bypass the need for the external power converter. The cord for this external power converter is rather short (maybe 3ft), and my doesn't even reach the ground from my desk. One more foot of cord would have been more than enough. Then again just the IEC would be better.

There is no built-in menu for the monitor that I have found. The buttons at the bottom are for power, volume and brightness. You can get around this in Windows, but its the first monitor I've even seen without basic controls. It has out-of-the-box brilliant color, so who cares.

The included audio cable is 3ft as well, and doesn't reach the back of my tower. Oh well on this one. I can buy a longer cable. If only there was an online store that sold computer equipment...

It only accepts DVI-D, which is weird but acceptable. HDMI would have been better, but the monitor comes with all the cords you need to get it working. Newer video cards are starting to come only with HDMI, so make sure you have a converter if you have one of these.

Lastly the stand: It's as others have described, but others have been harsher than I believe it deserves. Its definitely flimsy, but only at the connection to the base. The rest of the monitor casing and base are IMO decent build quality. I have a heavy typing habit and I do notice the monitor giggles the slightest bit when I get really into fat fingering my keyboard. I bought a Roswell monitor wall mount as well, but I have to wait until my wife is not looking to drill some holes in her pretty walls.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to get down all of the gripes I had with the monitor so others would know exactly what's in store. With all the cons I've listed, not one of them takes away from all the things this monitor does right. It's cheap and beautiful. It doesn't come with a lot of bells and whistles, but it more than makes up for it the first time you turn it on. I actually kind of glad it doesn't come with that stuff, because all of the cost in the unit is funneled directed into the quality of the picture. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsBest monitor ever

Pros: Fantastic quality - No dead pixels

Cons: Awful stand

Other Thoughts: The monitor itself is the best monitor I've ever used. The unbelievable cheap price for amazing quality is something you can't beat. The 1440p quality absolutely demolishes 1080p. I have a dual monitor set up with my other 1080p monitor and there is no competition. I will be buying another of these monitors soon. The only issue is they really need to update the stand. It is very wobbly and makes me a little nervous. Seems very cheaply made and something they should really consider updating. Overall - Highly recommended.
