5 out of 5 eggsBuy It!

Pros: Awesome screen. I really like the pixel density and color of this monitor. I'm seated about 18" away from this beauty, but the picture (though big) is not overwhelming. The resolution even at this distance is quite impressive.

I bought the "Pixel Perfect" (no-dead-pixel guaranty, so I wouldn't have to hassle with sending this back to Korean for a replacement) and it was exactly as advertised. There wasn't a single pixel out of place in nearly 3.7M.

Others had reported light-bleed in the lower right of the screen, but my monitor didn't exhibit this behavior. People did remedy this by stuffing paper in there, but I didn't have to do any of this. The video for the fix is available on YouTube.

I previously had two 19" monitors, so I was worried that replacing them with one monitor would limit my screen real estate. That's not the case at all and I'm very comfortable in the new setup. I do a of multi-application work on screen at once by docking in Win7 (photoshop, visual studio, netflix etc). This screen fits all of those needs and give me more usable space than before.

Cons: Okay time to be critical.

The included user manual is in Korean, and there about three English words in the entire thing.

Setup was easy regardless, but I don't like that there is a separate power connector for the monitor. I wish this was reduced to an IEC power connector directly into the monitor and bypass the need for the external power converter. The cord for this external power converter is rather short (maybe 3ft), and my doesn't even reach the ground from my desk. One more foot of cord would have been more than enough. Then again just the IEC would be better.

There is no built-in menu for the monitor that I have found. The buttons at the bottom are for power, volume and brightness. You can get around this in Windows, but its the first monitor I've even seen without basic controls. It has out-of-the-box brilliant color, so who cares.

The included audio cable is 3ft as well, and doesn't reach the back of my tower. Oh well on this one. I can buy a longer cable. If only there was an online store that sold computer equipment...

It only accepts DVI-D, which is weird but acceptable. HDMI would have been better, but the monitor comes with all the cords you need to get it working. Newer video cards are starting to come only with HDMI, so make sure you have a converter if you have one of these.

Lastly the stand: It's as others have described, but others have been harsher than I believe it deserves. Its definitely flimsy, but only at the connection to the base. The rest of the monitor casing and base are IMO decent build quality. I have a heavy typing habit and I do notice the monitor giggles the slightest bit when I get really into fat fingering my keyboard. I bought a Roswell monitor wall mount as well, but I have to wait until my wife is not looking to drill some holes in her pretty walls.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to get down all of the gripes I had with the monitor so others would know exactly what's in store. With all the cons I've listed, not one of them takes away from all the things this monitor does right. It's cheap and beautiful. It doesn't come with a lot of bells and whistles, but it more than makes up for it the first time you turn it on. I actually kind of glad it doesn't come with that stuff, because all of the cost in the unit is funneled directed into the quality of the picture. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsBest monitor ever

Pros: Fantastic quality - No dead pixels

Cons: Awful stand

Other Thoughts: The monitor itself is the best monitor I've ever used. The unbelievable cheap price for amazing quality is something you can't beat. The 1440p quality absolutely demolishes 1080p. I have a dual monitor set up with my other 1080p monitor and there is no competition. I will be buying another of these monitors soon. The only issue is they really need to update the stand. It is very wobbly and makes me a little nervous. Seems very cheaply made and something they should really consider updating. Overall - Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far I am amazed

Pros: 2560 x 1440 monitor for under $400, I think that's all that needs to be said

Cons: Obviously there are cons and if this monitor cost $900 I would complain, but for what you pay they're really not worth mentioning.

Other Thoughts: There are things about this monitor I don't like. Lack of features etc. However once I got this thing connected to my computer and saw how good the actual screen looks I didn't really care.

5 out of 5 eggsPixel Perfect Qnix

Pros: Pros ... see spec sheet?!
Pixel Perfect indeed ... not a stuck/dead pixel in sight. Gorgeous

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: You know what you're getting, and you get what you order. It looks amazing, it has a ton of real estate, and I successfully overclocked it to 96Hz easily. Could/might go higher, we'll see.

Many reviewers mentioned the base being a bit unsteady. I can see how that could be an issue, but on my desk it does just fine with enough tilt for what I need.

I will probably update when I've spent more time on it, but so far, definitely recommend buying. Awesome monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cheap monitor

Pros: Haven't bought it from newegg, but I thought I'd leave a review for other interested buyers.

This is a great monitor - the pixel perfect version came free of any dead/stuck pixels.

Colours look very good out of the box, though there are no adjustments available on the monitor itself. You can use better ICC profiles (do a quick search) if you are unsatisfied.

Backlight bleed is minimal. I tested a black screen with the lights off, and there's just a little bleed visible near the bottom of the screen.

No obvious ghosting

Matte coating isn't very thick, just good enough to not blind you with reflections

Cons: Only adjustments on the monitor are brightness and volume. No contrast/ colour temperature settings or anything else.

Only takes DVI-D as input. Ensure that your system can drive this.

Stand is very flimsy. You can adjust the horizontal angle with some difficulty, but even then, the stand does not inspire confidence.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm very very satisfied with the monitor at the price that I got it. Going to have to upgrade the graphics card to drive this beauty at high settings on new games.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Perfect, no dead pixels, no backlight bleed and so much more room for activities!!!

Cons: Wobbly but that's fine I have a sturdy desk.

My 1080p monitors look like trash compared to this, so I guess you could say it has ruined them.

Other Thoughts: Easily overclockable, but I don't care about that.

Even if it did have a dead pixel I could never tell, there are specks of dust on the monitor that are bigger than a pixel.

I definitely need a second and third.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price for what you get

Pros: I received this monitor on January 23, 2014 and so far I've had no issues with the monitor. There is absolutely no dead pixels and very little backlight bleed in the lower left hand corner. That is to be expected in these monitors though. It isn't even noticeable in a dark room watching a movie, it's only noticeable if you make your screen black and you are looking for it.

Cons: The stand is very wobbly as other users have mentioned in the other reviews. But it still seems secure enough for me not to have to worry about it.
No display port option, only has one DVI-D slot, but I expected that.

Other Thoughts: You're getting a 1440p monitor at half the cost of what other name brand retailers are selling them at. I'm sure if I compare this monitor to one of the name brand ones I wouldn't even see a difference.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent price, picture and colors. Nice and bright.

Cons: Slight backlight bleeding in the bottom left corner.

Other Thoughts: I just opened the box a half hour ago and was blown away by the improvement. I couldn't go back to my Acer S273HL. Ran 3DMark to watch the demos, then the ending to Crysis 3. Beautiful.
