Easy enough to lift my 70lb + electric bike. Price is good. Cons: Directions are minimal. Cryptic measuring procedure. Unless your ceiling joists are going the right way, you need about a 3'-4' piece of 2x4 or 2x6 (better). The philips head part of the provided screws stripped out halfway (even pre-drilled), Frustrating. Expect to go to a hardware store for better screws, and longer ones to mount the 2x4 to the ceiling. You may need a stud finder as well. The brake on the rope makes it hard to lower the bike. I needed a stick to hold the swiveling brake lever still while I lowered the bike.
