Tuned for Accentuated Bass Performance: Think new genres of music fall flat on a pair of conventional headphones? That’s why Denon created Urban Raver headphones.

Let’s face it, contemporary formats of music like techno, trance, hip-hop, drum ‘n bass, etc. demand a different type of tuning to deliver the level of performance that you heard at the club last night. Getting explosive bass performance and slightly enhanced treble (so you can hear the subtle rhythms of the high hat) is important for the overall experience.

Denon’s 40mm dynamic drivers professionally tuned for accentuated bass: Denon engineers have incorporated 40mm dynamic drivers in each ear piece and professionally tuned these to provide an accentuated bass experience, so you can feel the music like never before.

Designed for those who set the trend, not those who follow it: Denon’s Urban Raver AH-D320BU On-Ear headphones are specifically designed for those who set the trend, not those who follow it. Featuring eye-catching color combinations and a sculpted design these headphones are unique, just like you. From the vibrant blue accent color to the patent-pending Denon control wheel, your friends will be sure to ask you in surprise “WHAT ARE THOSE?” You may not hear them though.

Be Cool, Calm and Collected, thanks to Denon’s Integrated On-ear Controls and Microphones: Ever seen that guy or gal fumbling for their in-line remote on their headphone cable to control their iPhone or enhance their clarity of conversation? Imagine not having to be that person. Denon Urban Raver Headphones feature Denon’s patent-pending control wheel on the ear for easy control of Apple® iPhone®, iPod®, or iPad™, and integrated microphones on the ear for crystal clear call and voice recognition clarity. The Denon control wheel mimics the operation of a conventional rotary control. To turn the volume up, simply rotate the Right control wheel gently towards the front of your face. Volume down? Rotate the Right control wheel to the rear. Press the center of the right control wheel to play / pause the music or when you answer a telephone call.

Feel the Music. Not Your Headphones: At Denon they believe you should feel the music, not your headphones. In a quest to provide the most comfortable, best fitting headphones, Denon’s engineers have studied over 4,000 pairs of ears from people around the world, to come up with a design that automatically accounts for the subtle differences in ear placement, ear canal size, head size and jaw depression. Denon knows that fit and comfort comes from paying attention to the small details. Think about it – your ears aren’t round, so why settle for round ear pads? Denon’s patent-pending Pentagonally-shaped memory foam ear pads provide the ultimate in comfort for long trips, while the 2-axis ear cup design, adjustable headband and over the ear headphone provide for a perfect , custom fit. Denon’s Urban Raver AH-D320BU On-Ear headphones include a 3-foot audio cable, and a carrying pouch with Karabiner for easy portability.

Denon’s Club App, for iPhone, iPad or Android, enhances your experience: The Denon Club App was designed to enhance your listening experience with Denon Urban Raver Headphones. Customize your listening experience by creating, storing, and sharing custom EQ curves and features a real-time spectrum analyzer. 3 out of 5 eggsGood but not great

Pros: So i have to hand that these headphones have great sound quality and you can crank those bad boys up volume wise good treble bass quality is fatastic

Cons: k i loved these headphones at first for the first few hours even though my headphones came little bit late and when they had arrived one of the head cups was off and had cracks on the leds but thats not even the worse the sides of the headphones are way to heavy and strained my head till it hurt i couldn't wear these headphones long term so i ended up having to use my monitor speakers while i took a break and look at my other thoughts for the rest...

Other Thoughts: and on top of that they brag about the bass how great it is yeah the quality is nice but on bass heavy songs like techno dubstep electronic music you can barley feel the bass at all i mean even the skull candy hesh 2 headphones which does not have a battery bank has almost the same quality but way more louder bass and its cheaper and now lets get to the battery bank they claim it lasts 12 hrs and it does sorta it feels like im dealing with a moody person sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt but the thing is if you forget to charge them at night your done for besides the fact sometimes the usb dongle falls out all the time... it leaves a majorly annoying static and not only that though on top of to keep it charged if in use while listening the usb cable is so heavy and the connector does not hold it you have to lean your head in different directions and my conclusion/suggestion i would never buy these headphones in history nor from the denon brand again i do like there headphones but im not gonna be handed this again

3 out of 5 eggsnot bad but not that great

Pros: not bad for the price of a well known quality headset compared to others, but not really great as I tested some other headsets that are better than this.

Cons: the volume control does not work on any android tablet or mobile phone that I have although the box says it works on android too. this headset is mainly designed for Ipad, Iphone, and Ipod gadgets.

Other Thoughts: wish it would work on any tablets or mobile phones that is android os.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent sound(Bassy), but terrible microphone...

Pros: For the price, these Denon Urban Ravers are good alternative to Beats and offers good sound to satisfy Bass-heads who like to listen to more electronic and hip-hop oriented tracks. The sound is decent all-around with emphasis on the low-end.
The headset is solidly built and is fairly comfortable with the leatherette earpads.

Cons: This will definitely not satisfy audiophiles stringent needs as mid's occasionally gets drown out due to bass. The bass will also get in the way of the music on other genres and end up sounding very artificial.
The mic leaves a lot to be desired when connected to a PC. The mic barely registers even with mic boost maxed out on windows. This doesn;t help due to the mic being on the right side of the headset rather than in-line near the mouth. On the phone, it is passable for use.
While the headset is built well, if used for long listening periods, it can get uncomfortable as it is fairly weighty. The earpads can place a bit of pressure on the ears as well, so make sure to loosen it a bit more. The design also shouts for attention as well and a bit too gaudy for casual wear.

Other Thoughts: Overall, the headset sounds good for the price. While not the best bang for buck, it offers decent sound with heavy-bass response. If you can find it on-sale and looking for something for fun listening rather than audiophile-standards, I'd recommend it. I took an egg for the mic quality and another for less-than-amazing sound.
