This review is from: Cavalry High Speed 1024GB MLC PCIe SSD
Pros: Large storage on a fast PCI SSD hard drive. I don't have a ton of room for stacks off SSD so this was a good fit and I thought the price was right for the size and speed. I am using this SSD for all my VM OS HHDs and it s works like a champ. Being that I have never heard the name brand no was there no reviews at all I could find on this I was a little scared slapping that much cash down for a HHD that I don't know if it will last or not. I have had it over a month now and no problems yet, been very happy with the speed. I have come to learn you can not install this card on the same bus if you have a radio card installed. the two will not play nice together on the same bus. At less for me they did not. It would keep my video from posting then after a little time ( a week latter) it just turned off the server hard shutdown. Moved it to the other PCI bus and no problems, video comes back and still up and running. We are running 12 full blown VM server on the SSD and I cant tell any slow down on any of the servers.
Cons: TOOK FOR EVER to get it. it was almost 4 weeks from when I paid for the hard drive until I got it in the mail and it was sent usps. The box was beat up BAD. I really thought that drive was shoot. I was dreading having to send it back I knew it would months before I would get the new one back. So glad it worked for me.
