4 out of 5 eggsIt's legendary and it's good... but..

Pros: When properly equipped with the correct staples; stapling feels smooth and proper.

Cons: The one significant ding I am going to give Swingline here is the quality of the implementation of their logo on the top of the stapler. It basically looks like the top and bottom (sides) were staple gunned in and the finish with the deformations of the metal makes it seem like mounting the logo badge was an afterthought. A sad blemish to an otherwise visually pleasing and functional work of art.

Other Thoughts: Resisting "Office Space" references is like not saying 'Mole' while watching "Goldmember".
Yes, this thing can be used as a weapon fairly effectively. It is mostly metal after all, and explains why it's significantly more expensive than it's plastic competition. The solid feel means you wield this stapler, not just grab and use it. Respect Milton!

2 out of 5 eggsNot so good

Pros: none

Cons: Ima fan of swingline but these thing was not good especially for the price. The bottom panel ripped off, it doesnt accept standard swingline staples and yes I checked compatibility. First swingline stapler I regret buying.

Other Thoughts: Go with a dif. model.

5 out of 5 eggsI bought 5 of these RED beauties as gifts

Pros: I can now see why Milton coveted his Swingline stapler.
It's all metal, and durable with a nice rubber base.
It can handle virtually any collating job.
Even if you have to come in for the weekends.
It's a good weapon too.
Pull the locking lever underneath to "tacking position".
Just in case you're moved to the basement and might have to kill any cockroaches.

Cons: It needs the proper Swingline S.F. 4 chisel point staples for optimal performance.
If you use any old staples it will still work.
The staples will just flatten out rather than curl under.
But, it won't bind up like a Boston might.

Other Thoughts: Buy one for Lumburg too. So he wont take yours.
Don't forget to take it with you, if you happen to decide to burn the building down.
Remember, there's a little Milton in all of us...

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a Swingline...

Pros: Ensures the cover sheet never comes off your TPS reports.

Cons: If only the printer would work this well.

5 out of 5 eggsI got 5 of these!

Pros: It's a Swingline.
It's red.
Milton got his stapler back.

Cons: Lumbergh took the stapler.
Milton didn't get a piece of cake.
Too many Bobs.

Other Thoughts: Inside every one of us is alittle Milton.

5 out of 5 eggsIf Milton has one, you want one too!

Pros: One viewing of Office Space should enough for anyone to step up to the classic Milton Waddams stapler.

Cons: People (especially annoying bosses) always want "my stapler"

Other Thoughts: I switched to the Swingline from the Bostitch stapler because Melvin highly recommended on the director's cut of Office Space. Mr. Lumbergh doesn't have a clue about even how to use a stapler, but still wanted this one because of its hot red candy apple paint.

5 out of 5 eggsMilton Waddams

Pros: And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire...

Cons: Excuse me, I believe you have my stapler...

Other Thoughts: Mr. Lumbergh told me to talk to payroll and then payroll told me to talk to Mr. Lumbergh and I still haven't received my paycheck and he took my stapler and he never brought it back and then they moved my desk to storage room B and there was garbage on it...
