5 out of 5 eggsLogitech G602

Pros: -battery life
-size, shape, and weight
-sturdiness
-build quality
-button placement

Cons: -software needed for maximum customization
-glider pad edges attract dust
-medium dpi range (max 2500)
-button placement

Other Thoughts: The dpi is completely acceptable for single monitor setups, but dual monitor users might find the need to pick up and readjust the mouse. The middle lower and back lower thumb keys are extremely easy to use for my hand size, while the others are a bit less convenient in comparison. They are still very easy to use and offer nice feedback. Overall wonderful mouse for gaming and working.

3 out of 5 eggsNot good for gaming

Pros: Feels good in the hand
6 thumb buttons ?
Simple DPI adjustment
Portable
Power Usage is acceptable

Cons: Misses about 10-15% of button clicks.

Other Thoughts: I thought, "maybe wireless performance has become reliable by 2015."

It may have been.

But this mouse does not report a large number of clicks.

I might say it could be acceptable for single player use just for its comfort factor in my average-sized hands.

But it is useless for multiplayer and online gaming. This is not a competitive mouse at all.

I have it about 4-5 feet from its receptor dongle, with no barriers for signal.

3 out of 5 eggsWheel stopped working after 5 months

Pros: Big, 6 buttons near the thumb, insanely long battery life (over two weeks on single charge, im a video editor and gamer), nice DPI range.

Cons: Wheel became unresponsive after 3-4 months, and then stopped working altogether after 5 months. If you have a glass coated table, the receiver MUST be positioned on the table (using the supplied cable), or you will get erratic cursor movement.

Other Thoughts: For the price, I expected much better durability.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming mouse until it fails

Pros: The battery last forever. This doesn't come with the cons most wireless mouse come with. Very responsive with no input lag. Solid construction. You can change from 6 different dpi settings, which are all customizable in the software, on the go with the 2 buttons next to the left click. The software works great for customizing different profiles for games that you can import/export to a save file.

Cons: I bought my first one a little over a year ago and now I'm getting ready to replace the 3rd one. On all 3 the middle click on the scroll wheel went out. Only 2 out of the 6 buttons on the side of the mouse are comfortably reachable. Rechargeable batteries do not last long. The software is designed to auto-detect when you start a game and switch to the profile you have set for that game, but I have never been able to get that to work.

4 out of 5 eggsTHEY LIE!

Pros: I bought this mouse as a replacement for my Razer Ouroboros (After 2 years it was dirty, to lazy to clean.) the wireless aspect is great no problems with that and I still wanted all the buttons that my old one had. The 250-1440 hours of Battery life was quite intriguing, however after well over a month has gone by and I am still not missing a single bar of battery life. i was looking forward to blowing though AA batterys.

Cons: THE SOFTWARE IS APPALLING, there is no inputs for extra mouse keys you have to use keyboard inputs, it kept switching DPIs during Dota matches it's inefficient. I only use it when I need to. I don't know if I was spoiled with Razer's software or if this is just bad but, it's bad.

Other Thoughts: The buttons on the side are a minor inconvenience at times because of how far back they go.

4 out of 5 eggsexcellent no-kitsch wireless gaming mouse

Pros: build quality
tactile surfaces
battery life
layout
no silly lights

Cons: more options are always better.

Other Thoughts: a back up wired capability would net it a full 5 eggs in my purely personal opinion. I'd call it the best mouse of all time if it had a rechargeable, removable battery pack. there's always compromises, however, and this is a very well executed mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsBrilliant Wireless Mouse

Pros: -Optical
-Wireless
-Battery life is incredible in either polling mode
-Runs on one battery for a weight adjustment option
-Grip versatility
-Software is easy to use
-Nice feel
-Side Buttons and DPI buttons positioning
-Nice profile and looks great
-Tracks well
-Couldn't be easier to set up - plug and use

Cons: -2500 max DPI
-2ms max polling
-Scroll Wheel
-DPI increments (read below)

Other Thoughts: Believe the hype on the battery life. Been running one battery for 3 weeks of heavy usage, switching between performance and saving modes depending on the task at hand, and it's still above 50%. I believe it would accommodate any style grip as the size and profile are outstanding. I would have preferred a more rubberized texture similar to the palm area for the grip area on the sides but the sandblasted feel does add a grip texture and is superior to a smooth surface. The mouse tracks great on performance mode -- even for FPS. I'm sure there will be some people out there who insist on the 1 ms polling rate but lets be honest. How much of a difference is there between 1/1000 and 2/1000 of a second? If you are not a competition player this is a non-issue. Same goes for DPI. Very few people will need, or even want, a DPI above 2500. The DPI can only be in increments of 250 starting at 500 as far as I can tell so if you are a player that insists on a DPI other than 500,750,1000 etc. up to 2500, you're out of luck here. The only thing I even considered taking an egg off for is the scroll wheel. There isn't as much resistance from one movement to the next as I'd like. The rubbery grip feel on it is fine but I have run into 1 or 2 scenarios where I tried to to press it and accidentally scrolled. However, it hasn't been enough of an issue that I felt the need to un-assign it.

All-in-all, this is an exceptional wireless mouse that will serve almost any gamer well. You'll be hard-pressed to find anything out there like it at this price point.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Lag, Loooong Battery Life

Pros: Aesthetically, this thing is beautiful. Ergonomically, it's superb. It's big enough to house a fair number of buttons, but not gaudy big and hard to control.

I waited until I've had this mouse for about 6 months, so I can accurately report on battery life. Since I've had it, I average about 15 hours a week gaming (Oblivion, Skyrim), and the battery level has yet to come off of full!!!

The on-the-fly dpi resolution switching and performance modes are very easy to use, but I don't use them often, as I've never had a lag or jitter on economy mode.

I took a chance on a newer wireless device, and boy am I happy. It's so nice not having the wire to deal with and not suffering performance for it.

Cons: The rear thumb buttons are a little hard to get at with a palm grip.

Other Thoughts: If you're initial is "G", you'll love having this along with Logitech's G440 gaming mouse pad- friends will think it's a custom set.

2 out of 5 eggsBlisters the first day

Pros: Very smooth left and right mouse buttons and the shape is very comfortable.

Cons: Side buttons are buggy, don't always work when programmed and after 2 hours of gaming with this mouse I have 2 blisters on my thumb because how hard you have to press them and having to repeatedly press them to get them to execute the function.

Other Thoughts: As a general mouse it's a bit pricey but very comfortable but if you're doing any gaming where you want to program the side buttons you probably want to look elsewhere.
