With the geometric diamond-cut pattern and stainless metal structure, Blaze B30 offers a sleek jewelry-like and practical look. It is also built with an LED indicator, indicating the data transfer status during use. SP B30 is backed by a lifetime warranty, and comes with SP Widget application software which provides seven major back up and Recuva recovery tools.

Blaze B30
360 Degree Swivel Design

Blaze B30 incorporates the 360 degree cap-less swivel design with a stainless metal structure. This allows users to use and store with just a thumb push, and eliminates annoying cap-loss problems.

To enhance the durability of the swivel axis, Blaze B30 employs a Four-Way Position Rotation Technology, which can greatly avoid any damage or debris on the USB connector from a loose axis.

Sturdy and Durable
USB 3.0 Ultra Fast Transfer Rate

Outstanding read/write speed is coupled with the latest USB 3.0 interface, which features a 5Gb/s bandwidth, which is 10x the bandwidth of a USB 2.0 interface. It saves users precious time backing up to and from the hard drive when transferring mass data files.

Blaze B30 is compatible with Windows and Mac, allowing you to share files between different platforms.

Windows and Mac Ready

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: See "Other Thoughts"

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I plugged this into my PC running Windows 7 and it was immediately good to go. It's formatted to FAT32 and I reformatted it to NTFS after using the click-thru Activate Warranty link pre-loaded onto it. Click the link and you also have access to a backup software suite too should you need it.

It's a compact and smart looking USB stick with a high end finish and it's an all-in-one design with no removable cover and the fitted swivel aluminium cover protects it when it's not in use. Transfer speeds using USB 3.0 are very good and it works fine with USB 2.0 too. I've attached it to my key ring and I'm very impressed with it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: There are a few properties I look for in a thumb drive. Besides the size of the drive, I want it to be fast, rugged, and look good. The Blaze series of thumb drives from Silicon Power come in four sizes from 8GB to 64GB. It is up to you to determine the correct size for your needs, but remember, you can partition the drive any number of ways. The blue strip on the interior of the USB slot indicates that it is USB 3.0 which is super fast. I have tested the speed of various ports on my computer and hub with both USB 3.0 and 2.0. The speed difference is very noticeable. The B30 is backward compatible with any USB 2.0 port so you can use it with your older technology. Most of the drives now have LED lights to let you know when they are working, and Blaze is no different. The red LED blinks whenever data is being exchanged. The Blaze is light weight and has a cap-less design so you won't misplace the end. The 360 degree swivel is a stainless metal structure. This protective hinge, which locks in four different positions, allows users to move it out of the way with just a thumb push. The swivel axis prevents any damage or debris to collect on the USB connector. The end USB slot is safe when sitting in my pocket. Lastly, you will appreciate the look of the drive. It features a geometric diamond-cut pattern that is carved on a glossy, translucent body which enables it to reflect a sparkle through different sources of light. The size is 53.7 x 18.0 x 10.3 mm. The weight is only 14.8 g. There is only one choice in colour but the black looks great. It works best when the temperature is between 0°C and 70°C, quite a wide range. I would not want to be working at these extremes myself. The Blaze B30 has outstanding read/write speed being coupled with the latest USB 3.0 interface. It will save you precious time backing up to and from the hard drive when transferring mass data files. Add a few of those extra functions to a small in size, but large in space thumb drive. Get a Blaze B30!!

Cons: None that I came across

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None

Cons: Plugged into USB 3 port on Windows 7 PC, recognized the drive, actually ran the SP software and registered device. Started copying data to the device and it hung up. Removed/Replaced device and now it sees it as an empty removable disk drive. Same with USB2 port and even on another PC. RMA'd for a refund.

2 out of 5 eggsslow

Pros: Swivel cap
Metal, so it'll attach to a keyring without breaking through the attachment hole (which is why I bought it)
It's not dead, at least.

Cons: Sloooooow. Don't try to run applications installed on this drive, you will be in for a world of pain. They don't take so long to fire up, but closing an app takes a couple of minutes -- which, if you're trying to get out of the office at the end of the day, is way too long.

The hole in the swivel cap is such that if you put anything through it, you can no longer turn the cap all the way around to face the rear. This is slightly annoying if you like being able to spin the cap around and around and around (maybe that's a nervous tic of mine)

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: This flash drive offers a pretty large storage at 32 gigs which is perfect for putting large amounts of files as well as games, music, or whatever else you want to put on it. The looks of it are also a plus, with a nice black ridged design and a flip cover that snaps in place to protect the USB. The USB 3.0 is also a plus.

Cons: There really are no cons to this product that I'm aware of at the moment.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this flash drive offers a high storage, high performance experience for a very affordable price. I would recommend it!

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: The drive performs as advertised, giving me up to 100mb read and 35mb write.Build quality is solid, and it looks good enough.

Cons: I dislike that they put text on the metal.Speaking of the metal,it covers the light on the back of the drive, forcing you to either live without it and have a useless function not utilized or put the metal to the side position, which looks awkward to say the least.-1 egg for the design flaws.

Other Thoughts: Overall,I like it (especially considering it only costs $15).Even though it does have minor flaws, these are still minor and do not matter nearly as much as the performance and longevity of a drive.I will update if something notable happens regarding the Blaze.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall but Quick Transfer

Pros: Small, portable, durable, quick transfer , USB 3.0

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: The Review:

So let's get this straight there's lots of flash drives out there on the market but there is another type of flash drives I look for that I like to use are those swivel in and out that cover the usb when not in used I've had many that have those caps I end up losing the caps and find them months later this flash drive incorporates an 360 degree capless swivel design with the stainless metal structure and glossy plastic jewel design. Having this design allows users to use and store with just a thumb push. This flash drive also enhances its durability of the swivel axis with the Four-way positioning rotating technology which avoids any damages or debris on the USB connector

I really like the design of this just flip out and place into your usb port and your set now for the transfer speeds I thought they were remarkably fast a bit faster then some of my other drives by about 2 secs doesn't seem like a lot but when you have a large file it can mean the world of a difference

Anyways I had friends help test this drive and they like it one of them compared it to some of their smaller drives like this one and they like this drive not just for the price but for the transfer speed I'm going to take a guess that they thought it was top-notch over other drives out there Overall I was very impressed by this very cool well designed drive

Silicon Power Blaze B30 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive is available in 8GB、16GB、32GB、64GB、128GB capacities and is backed by a lifetime warranty, free technical support

The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10,

5 out of 5 eggsGood USB 3.0 Performance for Price

Pros: - Crystal Disk Mark 3.03x64 Read 123.4 / Write 41.27 as last checked....which is about what I expected.
- Solid construction with features as noted by other reviewers
- Lifetime limited warranty

Cons: Nothing noted.

Other Thoughts: I noticed that Silicon Power does have a premium USB 3.0 flash drive line with higher speeds....but it is suitably priced at higher prices. The Blaze B30 USB 3.0 flash drive may not be the fastest flash drive available, but the performance for the price paid is a solid value!
