4 out of 5 eggsThe Silent Enough Fan

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Smoke Color)

Pros: Slightly quieter than the standard case fan (which were from Cooler Master)
Comes with the adapter to connect them to a power supply

Cons: The fans were a bit dusty when I got them

Other Thoughts: Quieter than white noise from the home with AC running but louder than whispering

4 out of 5 eggsquiet but not that quiet

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Smoke Color)

Pros: This fan moves moves a lot of air at 12v and I mean A LOT. I'm in a micro atx using one intake one exhaust with mild over clocks and heat has never been an issue. Not to mention they look GREAT.

Cons: it's quiet but not that quiet. I can't turn the volume up enough to block out these fans at 12v. I had to do the 7v mod on both of them and adjust the clocks accordingly but at least I don't have to hear them anymore.

Other Thoughts: Great for their price and with that amount of airflow. In reality you can't find much quieter fans without paying double the price of these.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's been over a year and operating well.

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Smoke Color)

Pros: The fan works. Used in my first build ever, and I'm happy with it.

Cons: Some people may find it noisy. I hate noise, like low bass from ghetto cars, dogs barking all night, and Katie Perry ... But I like white noise, it cuts down on the sound of silence. If noise isn't that large a factor for you, then I wouldn't worry about it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well!

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Smoke Color)

Pros: replaced a couple of older models that had begun to fail. these worked like a charm out of the box, cooling my system back down to within normal running temps. Quite happy!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Had a hiccup during payment process but believe it was more due to original payment method than Newegg. Changed method of payment and had the fans within 2 days, really impressed with the quick shipping! Will be purchasing here more often!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan Just like stock on CPU cooler

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Smoke Color)

Pros: Ordered CM EVO 212 single fan figure I would skimp a little then ordered this to run doubles much better looking fan that comes with the CPU cooler pulls great rpms as in specs, sitting in THOR V2 case super cool system on air even @ 4.6 OC on my 1151 unlocked skylake 4.2 cpu

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Has standard 3 pin and packaging was included a 3 pin connector to expand to 2-4pin power connectors good addition but no need to use in modern system unless you're squeezing in little cases for build but hey it's there and free if you need it

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy this junk

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Smoke Color)

Pros: When they work they work well.

Cons: They are a little louder than the specs state

Other Thoughts: When these start to get a few years old they get really loud like they are about to seize up as a lot of these types of fans do. When they do you can usually peel off the sticker and remove the rubber grommet which reveals a small chamber where you can put a few drops of oil in to lubricate the fan bearings and quiet it down again. These do NOT have these chambers making them throw aways when they start to get loud. I wish I would have known before I bought them.

5 out of 5 eggscheap and quiet

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Smoke Color)

Pros: Simple look and design of functionality. Quieter than expected.

Cons: Only a three pin connector and it's kinda short.

Other Thoughts: I bought four for a reason. $/degree.

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome, for two years...

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Smoke Color)

Pros: Medium noise fans, all black, no DOA and I bought 6 of them.

Cons: Owned these for 2 years almost to the day, and they are humming pretty bad. The bearings in them are going out on 2 of the 6 I bought, almost to the point of being obnoxious. Its not completely unexpected because I run my PC 18 hours a day, but still, I expect a little more than 17k hours of run time..

Other Thoughts: I love CoolerMaster, and everything they make, but these fans were quite a disappointment. While they were new, everything was fantastic, and I had no worries. Now they have two years of run time and are humming like crazy. The two up front are the worst, but the other 4 are making noise as well. Note, I blow out my PC every two weeks; it has NO dust.
