1 out of 5 eggsThis case is huge!

This review is from: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Has enough room for everything you would want to put in it.

Cons: The case in a monster, but is laid out poorly. To do anything at all with a hard drive, you have to take both sides off, and the side that plugs into power and SATA, is very tight due to the cables so the case has a hard time closing. The top mount docking station is a hole in the top of the case, if you don't have anything to put in there you have to cover it with something.

Other Thoughts: Don't be a day late or you will not get the rebate.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PC Case, LOTS of Airflow

This review is from: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: I was looking for a full ATX PC case that "had it all" for a really good price. I strongly believe this that case.
1) Airflow. Airflow. Airflow. Included big fans!
2) Fits two oversized EVGA GTX 770s 4GB Classifieds with room to spare even with a 200 mm fan mounted internally on the side panel with the window. Both cards run their normal target temperature of 80 C under load with an ambient room temperature of 27 C. Which is to say that the case is VERY well ventilated.
3) ***Fits a Corsair H100i CPU liquid cooler*** with radiator fans mounted to the radiator on the inside of the case. Sticks of ram clear the fans if their heat sinks aren't too tall. Otherwise, you'll need to notch 2 mm of plastic out of the one fan shroud to accommodate the ram (I had to do so with the two sticks of G. Skill Trident X 2400 ram I installed) The fan blades cleared the ram after modding, FYI.
4) Great cable management. Lots of ports to root cables through. Lots of tie off mounts as well. I really appreciate the rubber port covers. Gives the case a "cleaner look".
5) Ease of cleaning grills/accessing fans (all removable).
6) Great floor clearance for airflow to the underside of the case. A removable mesh floor grill is included.
7) Ports on the rear for liquid cooling lines to link with an external radiator setup.
8) Sturdy, strong construction, and well built. I've traveled with my PC in my car across the continent twice. Everything held together flawlessly.

Cons: None really, but I have two suggestions.
1) Could always use a more room for cable management on the back side of the case. I bought this case because it had more cable management room than any other case, and it's does have A LOT, but I used all of it up with the extra fans and lighting kits I added.
2) There aren't any removable "mesh" filters on the top, side or front fan ports, or slots for aftermarket ones, like there is on the underside of the case. Some dust is stopped by the grills, while the rest goes through unfiltered. ***Then again, UNLESS you are using an actual real dust filter like from 3M or some other company, no PC case on the market I've seen actually "filters" dust, they all only stop a certain amount of dust if the dust happens to land on the "grill/mesh filter". So, meh.

Other Thoughts: 1) I removed the top metal mesh grill to assist with airflow out of the case. I recorded a 5 C drop in CPU liquid cooler temperature. There is a really nice hexagonal plastic grill underneath the metal mesh grill anyways, and it looks way better IMHO. Trust me, take it off!
2) I would like to see a variant of this exact case with a single, large window on the side, instead of the semi-window with fan port panel. I've seen this case modded to have such a window and it looks amazing with a water cooled setup.
3) Thermaltake, take note! Lastly, and again, even more cable room is always welcomed!

5 out of 5 eggsWell Made and Easy to Set Up

This review is from: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Steel case with 3 decent fans that are also nice and quiet.
Very simple to pull apart and clean. Has multiple screens to help reduce dirt coming inside of the case and the feet on it work well to help reduce vibrations.
It even has a convenient area cut out for the underneath the CPU for those using an aftermarket fan and forget to put on after screwing in the motherboard.
For those wanting to use a SSD for their operating system there is a place you can screw it into inside the front of the case without using any of the 3.5" slots.
Because of its size and the design; the air flow works well in conjunction with an aftermarket fan. Or if you rather, there is space to work with liquid cooling but this is not part of my build for the time being.

Cons: Not very many cons that will hurt this case, but you do need to think through on your cable management as despite the relief you can fill it up quickly. The other is you may have to unscrew the top fan in order to work some of the wiring to your desired motherboard as the top left corner becomes hard to work around.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this case. It's a sturdy design made with decent materials for the price you pay for it. And has more than enough room to work with expansions and upgrades in the near future.

4 out of 5 eggsLooks like something from tokyo drift -Doof

This review is from: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: -Leaf blower fans are nice, big, and quiet
- Blue color lights up the room with just the right hue
- Has lots of room for more fans or radiators
- Has a top E-SATA port which is good for whoever uses it (I know I don't)
- Well placed cable management slots for cables

Cons: - Not as big as a full from what I've seen but still just as good
- The rear fan is a plain black fan with no LED which was disappointing, but can be easily replaced
- Has a rather small side window. Although, that is primarily due to the space given for a side 200mm fan

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing Case!

This review is from: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Its got a ton of space for my AMD Radeon R9 390 Series card, and it looks great to. This case is really big, the picture makes this case looks smaller then what it really is. It keeps my computer parts cool, every part runs about 27C but the video card runs about 38C, but all in all really nice.

Cons: I had a little trouble with the wire management. When I was feeding the cables to the back, the back side of the case would not slide on and gave me a little trouble but I got it to pop on.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this case to any one with a high end gaming rig.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Case

This review is from: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Roomy
Easy to work with
HDD trays
Options for liquid cooling system
Pre installed case fans are SILENT
Hot swap SATA drive slot
Two USB 3 (requires USB 3 header on mobo) and an eSATA port on the front

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: This is a great case for a gaming build. I've seen a couple gripey reviews from customers who seem to have received a unit with defects. I've been using this case for a week and no problems yet.

2 out of 5 eggsUsed/refurbed device is what was shipped/

This review is from: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Thermal take decent case lots of space. Water or air cooled compatible.

Cons: Device was shipped as a refurbed product, No hardware was included. No stand off no cables no nothing. \

Other Thoughts: I am sure this is a nice case. I cannot give a good review because items were missing it was clear this case was returned and then sold as a new item. Unfortunate i received mine with less than half the items it claims to contain.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the money

This review is from: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case has multiple ports even a harddrive dock on top, the case looks great and was under 100$

Cons: The fans make noise like they are off centered I've taken them apart and put them back together but they rattle no matter what I do, the removable panel to hide the cables will catch your HD cables as you close the lid.

Other Thoughts: Besides the noise it makes and the harddrive connection issues when first booting from the side panel tugging on the cables it's a great looking case and offered lots of room

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We at Thermaltake apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
Please contact Customer Support at your earliest convenience to troubleshoot the rattling fans.

5 out of 5 eggsA tech Manager's case

This review is from: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: -Dock attached to top of the case
-Large case
-Easy to remove or install drives
-good for managing wires
-Airflow
-Aluminum and relatively lightweight

Cons: -USB 3.0 and not USB 3.1
-A couple metal parts seem to have fallen off when I opened the case. I don't know what parts these are and I can't seem to make a piece fall out even when turned upside down and continues to slide around the case. These parts seem to have no effect on the computer.

Other Thoughts: I'm currently customizing a PC for my girlfriend and now I'm gonna be jealous of her and her case. I've soldered the fans with new purple lights. But it would be great if Thermaltake made the accents removable. I'd love to paint them purple with enamel. The design on the top may be a little too much. I would have preferred to micro engrave a design on the top of the case but it already has too much going. This computer has enough space for the best parts to be built inside.
