1 out of 5 eggsPSU died after 6 months

Pros: Worked great for the six months until it didn't

Cons: I always thought Seasonic was a quality brand that came highly recommended. I might have to reevaluate that.

5 out of 5 eggs2 years and still going

Pros: power supply is well priced for what it is. plenty of power for many builds. 12 volt rails are stable so is the 3.3 and 5volt rail. power ripple, if any, (mine is less than .010volt per rail.) is well within many system tolerances. amperage output is sufficient for a small gaming machine, perhaps a nice HTPC. fan is quiet unusually quiet you may even wonder is it even on. most importantly its very stable.

Cons: its OEM folks so lets not get upset if there is no cord included. i would recommend trying to find a 15amp(12-14gauge) cord if you can yes there is such a thing as starving a power supply from AC current. simple way to figure this out is apply the ohms law.. you know divide total wattage by voltage this gives you appx amperage. required. this is the minimum draw never mind the start up which you should double.

Other Thoughts: used this to replace cheap power supply that came with case glad i did the c heap one lasted a week longer and smoked out.
