2 out of 5 eggsCurrent Revision Not Appreciated

Pros: In it's previous iteration, this case met expectations for the price level. Modern cases in the $50 range have the blacked out interior, tool-less clips, etc., but this case exceeds in aesthetics. It is great looking and something clients want. We have built about 15 systems with this case and everyone has been extremely pleased.

Cons: In it's current iteration, this case is less than satisfactory. The USB and Audio cables are now a less flattering grey whereas, before, they were black. This is important to the overall look with a side-panel window and we were happy to only have to sleeve the front-panel headers. Now EVERYTHING must be sleeved for that desired look or we can just leave the two wires to be ridiculed by us and our customers.

The second and most annoying problem in this iteration is the adjustments to both the placement of the rear fan and the style of rivets used for the side-panel window. The placement of the rear fan is in such a way that, when a cooler is installed that does not have flat screws (i.e. H50..Screws through the back), they will be in the way when putting the side panel back on. This requires one to remove the H50's screws, place the side panel, then reinsert the screws. The side panel windows new rivets hit the H50 (w/ 2 fans) and one must be removed and then reinserted.

Other Thoughts: These are not welcome revisions so this review is to get the attention of either Raidmax or Newegg. If we receive one more Blade that is revised in this manner, we will no longer use the case.

We are not sure if this is an earlier model or the revised model, but something needs to be done. Saving a few pennies on cable sleeving and production costs will only lose a company money... Not bring them that extra revenue that some guy so carefully micromanaged. You cannot expect a competitive market such as cases geared to gamers to be one that the customer will not look elsewhere if everything they've come to love is not just as such every time.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap
Looks cool
everything installed easy
tool-less desing

Cons: bad airfllow - the front fan doesn't draw in enough air.
bad cable management - the case does not lend itself to managing the cables well.

Other Thoughts: Considering the amount of money I spent on my systemt I should have went with a better case. If your building a cheap or mid range system than this case works fine, but if you're doing that I don't know why you're shopping here, just buy a Dell. If you're building a gaming rig than don't cheap out like I did - buy a better case.

4 out of 5 eggsNice for the price!

Pros: 1 - Nice looking (blue tinted window and overall design).
2 - Removable dust filter for PSU.
3 - Expansion slot panels use screws so they can be de-attached and re-attached.
4 - The pegs are awesome looking and they keep the machine up off the ground a very high distance, way higher than almost any other mid-tower case I have seen so far.

Cons: 1 - It was a huge pain installing the motherboard. The risers (or standoffs, whatever you want to call them) kept stripping and they got really loose. It may have been my motherboard's fault, as it was moved from a manufactured micro-ATX eMachines desktop.
2 - My 3.5'' HDD is jutting out of the bay... it's about half way in it, since the front 120mm fan is blocking it from going in all the way. I'm not sure if it is just my hard drive or the case's fault, though.
3 - The material is very flimsy and the paint on the inside scratches off, but this is something to expect with most budget cases.
4 - Cable management isn't very good. Although I was able to get most of my fat PSU cables through it, there's still some clutter and the side panel is pinching the cables.

For all of the above reasons, I will knock one egg off. It's still a great deal and I recommend it.

Other Thoughts: 1 - The pegs on the bottom of the case are plastic, not rubber. This means that it will slip around a lot when on a wooden desk like mine, although I still prefer them over regular pegs, since they look awesome.
2 - Red HDD LED. Although this is not a problem, it still doesn't match the rest of the blue case to me.

Highly recommended for its measly price.

2 out of 5 eggsReview #2

Pros: Cool looking case, Runs cool, plenty of room for heatsink on my processor witch is huge!

Cons: Case came broken, No fan on the side of panle, Very cheap and flimsy

Other Thoughts: I had bought the Raidmax Smildon case.. and they are WAY better, built to last years! not months like this case. I had told raidmax that the side panle with the window was broken and one of the 120mm fans came dead. the one with the led on it. They were good about sending me a new one. The rep i got was rather rude i thought. But they make good Cases besides this cheap-o one if u spend more money with them they offer way better cases

3 out of 5 eggsAlright case..

Pros: design of the case, Liquid cooling, LED lights. and above all PRICE!

Cons: When i took it out of the package, the blue tinted window on the left side of the tower was already broken. two screws had snapped off. For whatever reason raidmax did an excellent job making sure even if it was abused during shipping it wouldn't be broken in anyway due to great packaging but it did.. Deducted 2 eggs for broken case. Altho i don't plan on returning it..... just yet.

Other Thoughts: I owned a slimdon first (or however its spelled) I Had an issue with the 120mm fan in the back being DOA. But raidmax sent me a new one ASAP no questions asked. So i was already a fan of raidmax. But this tower seems Cheap... once you hold it and compare it to the smildon.. Its flimsily Not sturdy like it would last years, like the smildon is. But hey.... You get what u pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Has tool less installation that makes fast work for builds. Both side panels remove quickly with thumb screws for easy access to both sides of drives during install or hardware swap. All black case for clean look through blue tinted side window. Quiet fans. Has a fan filter for power supply. Very sturdy and Looks great! Included plenty of screws for mounting.

Cons: I used RAIDMAX 730 watt power supply RX730SS that has blue led fan and the 4 pin jwr1 barley reached from bottom mounted power supply with MSI 785GT-E63 motherboard. (probably more fault of power supply) not worth removing any eggs

Other Thoughts: First full system build and highly recommend to anyone. I used 2 screws on other side of case for all drives as though I don't plan on changing hardware very often.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Good quality, all black, looks nice, bottom mounted PSU makes installation and cable management much easier. Lots of room to move around.

Cons: Paint quality isn't the best but is fine at this price range. I selected 3 day shipping but didn't get it for 5 days - UPS's fault.

Other Thoughts: A fair bit of plastic in this case which isn't necassarily bad - it does make it pretty light. The shape of the plexi on the side isn't the most eye-pleasing but it still looks good once everything is in and the LED's are lit up.
