1 out of 5 eggsbattery drains in 1 day

Pros: it's a mouse

Cons: * Battery drains after one day's use so I have to tether it constantly. Not acceptable for a wireless mouse. Logitech quality is slipping. After many years of being a customer I think this is the last Logitech product I buy. Tried an alkaline battery and lasts about 4 days.

* left/right scroll wheel function feels soft and unresponsive

Other Thoughts: epic fail

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Mouse

Pros: I purchased this mouse in 2011 and it still preforms as new. I am still using the battery that came with the mouse and it holds a charge for about a month.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsDisgusted with Logitech

Pros: As a paperweight with a $99.99 MSRP sticker, it makes an interesting conversational piece. It's all i can say since Logitech doesn't stand by their product & will just string customer along

Cons: Rechargeable battery drains in less than 2 days whether it was in use or not. Logitech quality has been steadily declining the past couple of years but didn't realize customer satisfaction had been ditched completely

Other Thoughts: Bought it for friend just back from Afghanistan but it's defective. Logitech Support was slow to respond to emails and made it clear from the beginning that they had no interest in helping resolve this known issue with their product.

Friend is now happy using a $15 Gear Head mouse that he says seems to be better quality

Pros: This Mouse Rocks! Yes, its a bit pricey but like all things in life you get what you pay for. Sometimes you just have to spoil your self and say what they heck, a Benjamin for peace of mind is worth it considering that most people use a mouse every day and never think about what it would be like to experience luxury computing with precision clicking. If you are a graphics designer professional then this mouse is for you because you can customize the software to do what ever you want it to do, plus its great for gaming, the battery can be replaced if and when it can no longer hold a charge from the USB cable and what I love most about this mouse is the look and feel. Logitech is a great company, every product I have every purchased from them has always impressed me. This product was so well designed that I actually hated it at first because I did not understand how to operate it correctly and that was my fault, its a mouse that is designed not to be moved much, so less energy, less movements, less stress, less fatigue on your overall computing experience. Once you switch from an average mouse to a precision mouse everything else just sucks. You will never ever want to go back and over the course of time your hand will begin to mold into this perfectly sculpted masterpiece. Once you learn how to hold it and move it correctly you will fall in love just as I have learned how to operate it correctly. Initially I was very disappointed, but that's because I had the wrong expectations of what I thought it was, how it should operate and how it should feel. If and when you purchase this product you will begin to appreciate its architecture and in life everything comes down to structure! Well worth the Ferrari Sports Car Precision Instrument Gear Shifting Performance Price!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: It takes some time getting use to, but once you get the hang of it the previous mouse you used to have will start to feel awkward and before you realize it, what used to feel normal and comfortable will feel different and that's what happened to me out of the box I did not understand that this mouse was hand crafted as a a precision instrument designed to be operated with the least amount of energy for the most amount of effectiveness. Thus its a learning curve, so keep using it and practice with it every day, in about a week or month you will ask yourself, gosh how did I every get along with out because everything else sucks and this mouse rocks. I used to hate it because it felt different but now I love it! When you start to measure millimeters you start to appreciate this mouse because everything is so close together that it either feels terrible after you unbox at first, yet give this one some time to get used to and it will fit you like a glove!

1 out of 5 eggsFor a 100 dollar mouse it should last longer

Pros: Compared to most wireless mice at the time of release, best battery life.

Cons: Double clicking issue. Skips in gaming.

Warranty expired. With a high end mouse it should be at least 5 years.

Other Thoughts: Logitech as a company aren't what they used to be.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for Productivity

Pros: It feels great (heavy), it pans great and it is SUPER comfortable. I've seriously never used a more comfortable mouse. Wireless

Cons: It's wireless. It's a blessing and a curse because that means you have to charge it. The charger is included and long enough (very long actually which means you can charge it and still use it which is nice.) The buttons could feel a little more robust in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: The buttons aren't flimsy, but I just mash mice to bits and this one seems like for 100 dollars, it could handle should handle it a little better.

It's a good mouse and I would buy it again if I had the chance.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse until scroll wheel freaks out

Pros: - Wireless, but can still be used when plugged in for charging
- Perfect size and shape for larger hands
- Long battery life
- Forward and back buttons
- It's purdy

Cons: - Scroll wheel skips after a year or two of consistent use
- Right button a little sensitive

Other Thoughts: I have owned 2 of these mice, and the biggest problem I have had with both of them is that the scroll wheel seems to freak out after a couple years. When using the scroll wheel to scroll on the web or in documents, it starts to skip several pages at a time instead of a few lines (click scrolling is turned on). It gets to the point where the scroll wheel is completely unusable.

The other smaller issue I've had with both mice is that I tend to rest my ring finger on the right mouse button. On other mice it doesn't cause any problems, but on this mouse, it seems like the right button is sensitive enough that the weight of my resting finger is enough to accidentally click. So, as a result I'm constantly right-clicking everything.

There are also a few features on the mouse that seem pretty gimmicky. I have never found any of these features useful: the zoom button, the "hyper scrolling mode", and the window switching button. The window switch software is very slow. Even with a high end video card, the animation is slow and jumpy. I'd rather just hit alt-tab.

1 out of 5 eggsterrible logitech customer service

Pros: mouse has worked great for over a year but now....

Cons: I have been trying to rma my mouse for a month and a half now because the left and right click buttons like to double/triple click when pressed only once but Logitech is giving me every excuse they can think of not to honor the warranty...I have over a year and a half left on the warranty....I can only give this product one star for the bad customer service(wish there was negative rating options) its not neweggs fault but Logitech has lost me as a customer...DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE IT IS JUNK!

Other Thoughts: wish I bought a mouse from another company

3 out of 5 eggsGood but flaws

Pros: -Comfortable
-For large hands
-Heavy (147g)
-Thumb buttons

Cons: -Poor battery life
-Often will have manufacture defects
-Rubber may rub wear down
-Long time to charge
-Setpoint software will mess up it's sensitivity

Other Thoughts: I've owned these mice over the past several years. The first one lasted for at least 4 years before the rubber wore through on the thumb. The 2nd one I bought had a defect in the right click where it would get stuck and very mushy feeling. The 3rd mouse I bought worked perfect but after several months the rubber on the thumb wore through again. The 4th one I bought has a flaw where the rubber on the right side is not flush with the plastic and the edge of the plastic is sharp and will irritate your hand and finger. The 5th one I bought has the exact same issue as #4.

Overall the mouse is very nice except for the battery life and often has defects. Whoever does the manufacturing of this mouse needs to consistently make these mice the same.
