2 out of 5 eggsDifferent color fans?

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: They're cheap 120mm blue LED fans.

Cons: I purchased two of these fans previously for my desktop and they appeared and functioned as they should. I later purchased one more fan after a month of owning the first and received a normal looking fan, like the first two. Plug it in and power it on only to find out it is a much different blue.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Blue LED's not to bright and they push a lot of air! They are also pretty dang quiet they're not completely quiet and if you turn them up of course they're going to make some noise but they move a ton of air.

Cons: the cable could be a bit longer. It was hard to hide one of the cables because it wasn't long enough to hide and still get to the port I wanted it to go to.

4 out of 5 eggsgood fans, cables too short

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: nice fans for the price, blue l.e.d.s look great.

Cons: fan headers MUCH to short, and while they are decently quiet,
they could have been quieter.

Other Thoughts: overall, I would buy them again, but definitely with fan extensions.

4 out of 5 eggsI like it.

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Nice and quiet as the fan has a considerable amount of blade surface allowing the fan to run at a lower RPM while providing the needed velocity. It looks good too.

Cons: None that I can think of other than it is slightly overpriced.

Other Thoughts: Using this type of fans on my system has cut the noise down a noticeable amount. They seem like quality units. Price should be $5 less.

4 out of 5 eggsAverage

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Moves a lot of air, and keeps my system nice and cool. Looks pretty nice. Works good.

Cons: This is running at full RPM 24/7 because I didn't have an available fan header, and at max RPM it is annoyingly loud. I'm probably going to get a fan controller to manage all the fans more effectively for noise control. Fan has also begun to exhibit some vibration related noise, probably because of the higher RPM. I would probably recommend something with equivalent airflow at a lower max RPM, because it seems to me that this fan would still be a bit noisy even at lower RPM.

Other Thoughts: The LED's are placed in a way that makes it look cool, but it doesn't give off very much ambient light. so if you want a fan too help light up your case a bit, look elsewhere.

4 out of 5 eggsLast a long time

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Moves a lot of air
Glows nicely

Cons: One of the two fans I have started rattling on startup a year ago. Still works though and rattling goes away.

The rattling fan also had an led die.

Other Thoughts: Long lasting fans. I bought these for 8 bucks each in January 2013.

2 out of 5 eggsSuper Loud

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Looks cool
Has a nice design
Cool LED's (pretty lights)

Cons: This fan is super loud. My lord. Once my computer kicks into gaming mode this fan makes my Mini case sound like a lawnmower about to jump my desk and chop my arm off. I got this fan to replace another with a ruined bearing that made tons of noise and now I regret it as this perfectly working fan makes MORE noise than that one.

The screws were WAY too big for the fan. They were not designed for it in the slightest and I thought I was going to strip them as I was installing them I had to put so much muscle into it.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this fan. It looks nice which is why I gave it the stars, but flippin' sunday, is it loud.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case fan.

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Very quiet at lower RPMs.
Works wonderfully with a fan speed controller.
Moves alot more air than a stock fan, even from a cooler master case.

Cons: Is a tad loud at higher RPMs
Led's could be better, although they still look ok in the dark. But they look just that, ok.

Other Thoughts: The fan is fairly quiet and moves a good amount of air around 1400 - 1600 RPM. It gets noisy any higher than that but also cools my case an additional 4 degrees so the fan works quite well for my needs. If you plan to use a fan controller this is a great buy.
