Pros: It is an iPad, and it does turn on and work.
Very fast shipping.

Cons: The iPad mini came bubble wrapped, but I'm not sure why they would even want to protect this thing. First thing I noticed were white marks around the edges of the bezel - scratches all over the metal edge between the screen and the back casing. I got a sinking feeling... there are chunks missing from the edges from what looks like multiple drops. Looking closer, there are deep scratches in the front glass across the viewing/touch surface, and not isolated to one area. All over. The back has some of the black coating wearing away to a whitish color and deep dark scratches on the surface as well as the chrome apple logo.

Other Thoughts: Expect a heavily USED product, not a "refurbished". Nothing about this item has been refurbished besides the wiped hard drive and maybe a wipe down with some cleaner. This product is was abused and damaged before it was shipped, maybe they played Frisbee with it or used it as a cutting board.

I can't recommend this product unless you want to cover it up with a big otterbox case or something and pretend its new.
