5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Monitor!

Pros: • Delivered Quickly
• Reaches the advertised 60fps in 1440 (haven't tried overclocking to 120fps in 1080)
• No dead pixels on arrival or in a year since
• Picture is clear from all angles (above, below, either side)
• Although the stand seems thin, it is very steady (well-balanced) and I have had no problems with adjusting the monitor angle

Cons: • The built-in speakers are medium-low volume and underwhelming in quality, but if you're buying a resolution this good and not pairing it with proper speakers it's your own d*mn fault, I consider their inclusion in the monitor at all a bonus
• As some other reviewers have said the backlighting can be somewhat noticeable on an all-black screen, but it doesn't bother me and I wouldn't have even known to look for it if I hadn't read the other reviews, and on a 1440 monitor priced like this it's some serious nitpicking
• The little blue "power on" indicator light is obnoxiously bright! I had to cover mine with tape so I could sleep at night, but that's hardly worth docking an egg

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking in the 27 inch size, the fact that this one comes in 1440 as well is an amazing bonus considering the price.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: works well, no dead pixels, good field of vision

Cons: Nothing in what comes with it tells you that you must you the cable they provide or a dual link dvi cable or it doesn't work at all. Not even in a lower resolution.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor, but not the one you were expecting

Pros: - Great Price for 1440p
- Overclockable* (see below)
- Multiple Inputs

Cons: - Power adapter seems flimsy and easily dislodged
- Monitor Wobble
- Can not overclock to what you think it can

Other Thoughts: This is an amazing monitor but it is probably not the one you are looking for if looking to game and achieve a very high (100hz+) OC. This monitor will report as 100hz+ when you set it to that in the Nvidia control panel, but will frame skip terribly, which you can verify with some web utilities. This particular model is only capable of achieving ~85hz for an OC (still great!) so if you were looking go higher or were reading reviews about the QX2710, realize that this is not the model being reviewed and that you should be looking for the model with the single DVI-D input.

5 out of 5 eggsOverclocks to 110Hz+

Pros: I'm going to skip the pros and cons that are obvious from the specs.

-Overclockable. I am simply using nVidia's control panel to change the monitor speed. I have heard some models can overclock to 120Hz, but I can comfortably get 110Hz with virtually no issues.

-Great, vibrant colors. I feel like contrast ratio is a bit misleading. This monitor has great contrast.

Cons: -It has only one real input for video: dual-dvi. It would be nice if it had an HDMI in addition.

-The blue LED "on" light is way too bright for me. I have 4 pieces of masking tape over it. Also, when it's in standby (and lights are off), tape over the light isn't enough as the blinking light bleeds out of the air slats throughout the lower right of the monitor.

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind that resolution this high wrecks your video game performance. I have a GTX Titan Black and there's several games I can't play at max settings without serious framerate drop.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty awesome

Pros: The screen is total awesome sauce. Ive been using a 19" for 7-8 years and jumping to a 27" was just an eyepopping experience. You definitely take notice of details.
Shipping was fast; it took 2 and 1/2 days to get here. Not bad considering it was across the globe.

Cons: 1 stuck red pixel but I didnt even notice it until I inspected the screen closely on a white screen. Pixels are so tiny, it isnt noticable unless you're actively looking for it.

Other Thoughts: Ive only had the screen for a couple of days but Im loving every second of it. I play guild wars 2 and its nice to see what asura (small gnome looking like race) gear looks like!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome monitor!

Pros: quick shipping! Ordered late Sunday night, had it delivered and was playing by Tuesday afternoon! Out of the box it went right to 2560x1440 @60 Hz on a DVI-D connector. Manually set the refresh to 120 Hz and it's been artifact free from the start! Some people have complained about the power adapter being the overseas plug, but I left all that in the box, grabbed one of the dozen three-pronged power cords I have, and it worked just fine. I missed the fact that this came with both HDMI and DVI-D, so I was pleasantly surprised! I may have to buy a couple more for multi-monitor goodness!

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: moving up from 24" 1080 to 27" 1440 is awesome! I haven't tried 4K on this monitor (yet), because 1440 @120Hz looks so good!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I am very impressed with this monitor, after using it for 3 weeks in heavy gaming, without a hick up. Several others complained of poor stand, I have had no issues. The color and response are great and monitor looks terrific especially in high and ultra settings.

Cons: Not 4k

Other Thoughts: I have this side by side with a BenQ and the picture is identical in color and warmth. I am very impressed.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this monitor!

Pros: I love this monitor.
- high quality display
- cheap
- overclockable (depending on which version you get)
- VESA mountable

It's cheap. That's the huge pro here.

You're losing out on features in the stand and construction of the bezel, in return for a very nice panel. For me (for most users, I would say) that is a good trade to make.

Cons: A few cons, which are altogether negated by the price:
- included stand is weak
- bezel isn't too nice
- lack of inputs (no DVI)
- VESA mount screws are pretty shallow

Other Thoughts: - I use an aftermarket monitor stand
- you will need to open up the bezel itself to take the stand completely out -- it requires a phillips and a flathead screwdriver. But it's a very simple process.

4 out of 5 eggsOverall Very Good

Pros: I've had this for a year and it is by far the best monitor I have ever owned. Very high resolution, lot of room for apps and the colors are great. Playing games on it because of the color range is a joy.

Cons: Stand is very flimsy. Get a mount for it, that my plan. Power brick gets very hot, not sure why. Make sure you keep it from carpet.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good product. If you are looking for affordable 1440p, this is what you want.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat buy for the price

Pros: This monitor is great so far. the picture quality is great right out of the box and is a nice upgrade from 1080p. I'm running this with a gtx 970 and games look great. the ability to overclock the refresh rate is an awesome feature as well.

also, this thing arrived in two days after ordering. super fast shipping.

Cons: some backlight bleeding along the bottom, but it's not too noticeable. just something to be aware of.

the big con with this is the stand. it is super wobbly. my small kitten managed to knock it over the day I got it, and that's saying alot considering the size of this thing. so be aware if you have pets or will place it in an area that it can be bumped into easily.
