The Vivitar RC-6 Wireless Remote Control is a miniature infrared transmitter, handy for taking pictures of subjects that are difficult to approach, or to minimize vibration for close-ups and time exposure. It operates at ranges up to 16.4 ft. (5m), and may also be used to activate mirror lock and bulb shutter function.

Cons: Did not work for my SL1. Just does nothing. No instructions came with the product. It did come with a battery, which I assumed was dead. I replaced it but it did not solve the problem. Other Thoughts: It was a cheap purchase, so I wasn't really holding my breath for this one. Wasn't worth trying to get it replaced or refunded since the shipping cost would probably be more than the price of the item. Oh well. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? Pros: Not expensive.
