Pros: works fast! especially with USB 3.0 flash drive without external power. Supplied AC adapter needed for 2.5" hdd.

Cons: too expensive at Newegg. you can find it for $9.99 at other retailer.

Pros: Follow up review:

Works in Windows.
Contains power cable for more USB juice.

Cons: Not a con because it never advertised having this functionality, but a nice to have; it would be nice if there were Mac drivers.

Other Thoughts: After a lot of trial and error, I managed to get the unit to function reliably. What I had to do was go in to power settings and make sure the PCI Express cars was always set to on. The only other thing is the card has to be in the slot when the machine starts.

Pros: Comes with power cable for devices that need more USB power. You don't need to plug in the cable unless your USB device needs more power.

Cons: Issues having Windows 7 x64 see the ExpressCard. When you initially install the driver the ExpressCard functions like it should. If you remove the card and reboot your machine the ExpressCard is not detected. Going to the remove hardware and eject device toolbar icon produces a result of device still in use. This is on top of a fresh windows install.
