5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works. Connected my old HP LaserJet 6P to my new PC, which only accepts USB. Just make sure you plug it into a USB 2.0 port.

Cons: No cons. I didn't plug it into the correct port. Once I did, Win10 recognized the printer, loaded the driver and it printed.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this product.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Teamwork.. have what you need when you need it!

Pros: You have to like it when, for less than $15 bucks (including shipping), I was able to keep my old receipt printer ($300) after buying a new computer. The machines of today no longer come with LPT ports, and this devise made that possible. My hat goes off to both, Newegg and Antonline for having this workaround and getting it to me quickly (and affordabally)

Cons: Looked, but couldn't find any..

Other Thoughts: Yes.. when you need it, you've got to have it!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfect

Pros: Bought for an HP LaserJet 6P. Windows 7 detected and installed the correct driver right away and I was printing a minute later. Doesn't get any easier than that!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Trendnet's product quality continues to impress me. Keep up the great work.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with XP

Pros: Works on my HP 6p laserjet, took 2 minutes to install.

Cons: Didn't auto configure. I had to manually install as Virtual USB Printer. Takes a minute.

Other Thoughts: Cable came in one day with standard 3day shipping. I'm sold on Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: Just received. Plugged it into my HP Laserjet 6p, then my Vista machine and the OS auto sensed it, installed the driver and appropriate port setting. Opened up printers and printed a test page with no problems. That's what I call perfect implimentation! Will recommend to all my friends and family who need it. I don't have a problem with the price. If it was $30+, then we'd have a problem.

Cons: None. Except that the cable... although 6 feet long required me to rethink my current printer placement. I had it 9 feet away and so I moved it. Perhaps, I should have picked up a USB extender.

Other Thoughts: Parallel printers are disappearing by shear old age. My motherboard in my new custom build didn't even include a parallel port. By nature, this cable will grow less and less needed. I just saw a personal Laser from Brother fror $70. If you're waiting for the price on this to go down, don't hold your breath. Demand for this product is growing less or staying the same in my opinion. So I highly doubt the price will change. The product appears to be made of good quality. I'd just go ahead and purchase it if I were needing another.

4 out of 5 eggsHP LaserJet 6L works with Mac Mini

Pros: works with Mac

Cons: didn't come with a free iPod

Other Thoughts: More expensive than most, but the first one I bought (China direct) died after 1 month. This one has a warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding converter

Pros: After upgrading my computer with a new MB, I didn't realize there was no printer connector. This adapter did the job and Vista recognized my HP LaserJet Printer 4050T as soon as I pluged in the USB cable.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well with Win XP

Pros: Have installed 3 or these to work with Win XP machines and have yet to have a problem

Cons: maybe could use a longer USB extension cord with the adapter. It is 6 feet as is and sometimes I have to add a USB extension cable

4 out of 5 eggsWorks good Mostly

Pros: Printer -older Epson Laer AL100 fine when printing- less expensive than the Belken

Cons: A coupe of times the printer said not ready- even though it was on- I had to delete the printer and reAdd- dont know if this was a USB conflict or cable issue

Other Thoughts: Asus p5k Deluxe MB
