So, you may as well get a used motorcycle, if that is the case. Other Thoughts: Based on engine size, I expect these to top out at 40-45MPH, for an average-sized person. Pros: Good price

Cons: Check the laws of your state - most states require a motorcycle driver's license, a motorcycle license tag, and motorcycle liability insurance for any scooter over 49cc. So, you may as well get a used motorcycle, if that is the case.

Other Thoughts: Based on engine size, I expect these to top out at 40-45MPH, for an average-sized person. A 250CC scooter would top out at 55-60.
