Pros: Delivers a solid 4kw without any problem, Runs Smooth

Cons: When received, the AC Frequency was about 67hz. Simple adjustment of the engine governor fixed that little problem, took all of a minute.

Other Thoughts: I would NOT use regular gasoline or the hybrid fuel in this system. I run only premium gasoline just as I do in all my motorcycle engines. Should last for a Long time if taken care of.

Pros: Received the product ahead of schedule. Took about an hour to install the wheels kit, add oil and connect the battery. Generator started immediately and I ran it for 10-15 minutes under load. No complaints. Would suggest this product friends.

Cons: Nothing bad or questionable.

Pros: Cheap! 3300 Watts of usable power. Overrated.

Cons: Item did not arrive ready to go! Customer service had no clue of what the issue was and when I told the guy how I would fix it he told me that I was wrong. That almost got a return off bat! The generator was running at 65Hz and my lights were flickering and My UPS system would not power on because of the high voltage. I took my own advise and throttled the speed of the motor down and adjusted the VR in the back of the generators electric motor that pops off with 2 screw up to 123 Volts and not I have the same power that Duke Energy sends me when they are not down from lack of maintenance. They did instruct me as to where I could find the VR but the smugness of telling me that I am wrong about the way that the genset is set-up was unseeded!

Other Thoughts: l'd buy a larger genny because this will power a home theater, a loaded PC, lighting and Fridge. I am short on the Furnace, A/C and washing appliances but for $279 I am satisfies with the price and myself for tightening the output of this genset

Pros: Has 240 Volts it will run my well pump, easy to start via pull or electric, excellent muffler, a cast iron sleeve so the engine should last, and decent build quality for the price.

I bought this generator on sale on Black Friday for $279 with free shipping. The price was so good, I doubt they could make any money selling it at that Black Friday price. Just the shipping alone from CA for IL would eat up quite a bit of the money I paid.

I'm very impressed with the generator so far. I bought it to replace an old 5 HP, 2250 watt generator was down on compression and really hard to start. This generator has electric start, but also a pull starter. I started it for the first time with the pull starter and it fired right up on the first pull!

This generator is also much quieter than my old one. I have a sound meter and it measured right at 72 dBa vs my old generator's 80 dBa. That 8 db difference is really big from inside the house. The old one really made a racket, where this one isn't bad at all.

The owners manual is very detailed, and it came with pictures to help ease the assembly. A 250 Volt 30 Amp Twist plug end and 120 volt plug end were also included which was an unexpected bonus.

For the money I paid, I don't think this generator can be beat. Even at the regular selling price, I think this generator is an incredible value.

Cons: The cons are a couple of minor issues that I was able to deal with.

1. The battery tray is only spot welded to the frame and one of the spot welds was broken, so the tray was only supported on one end. I was able to come up with a quick fix using some silicone to glue down the other and and a few zip ties to keep the battery securely tied down and not vibrating.

2. The air cleaner cover is partially blocked by the round tubing of the frame making it a little hard to remove and put back on. It takes a bit of wrangling to do.

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if a natural gas conversion kit was offered for this generator. I see they make another model that supports LPG and Natural Gas. I have a natural gas line outside for my grill so a natural gas hook up would be easy for me.

I don't think you can go wrong with this generator if you're looking for backup generator at an incredible value. It's not as quiet and as well built as a Honda, but I was surprised at how well it is built for the money. Time will tell, but I think it's going to hold up well. The next time we have a power outage during a store, it will be really nice being able to run my well pump with this generator.
