Features:

• Works on all vehicles located in the U.S. 1996 & Newer (By law must be OBDII compliant)
• Read diagnostic trouble codes, both generic and manufacturer-specific, and display their meaning
• Clear trouble codes and turn off the MIL ("Check Engine" light) - This adapter DOES NOT read ABS, SRS, Oil Chang or other lights - It only reads OBDII information related to the check engine light!
• Connects to your Android phone or Windows laptop by using an app or computer program (Sold separately)
* Compatible with Android phones Only – Not for use with iOS devices

- The BAFX Products adapter will last longer, give you a more stable connection, provide a better data transfer rate and work smoother on ALL vehicles than many of its competitors

- When used with Android or Windows based software this OBDII scan tool, can retrieve trouble codes, reset the check engine light and read MANY statistics not available with normal scan tools! You can monitor things such as O2 sensor readings, EOT, Revs, Throttle, Boost, Speed Fuel Trim and much more.

- When used with certain software you can also check your emissions readiness, track your 0-60MPH, 1/4 & 1/8 Mile times plus more

* Not all vehicles will support all possible readings. The readings supported by your vehicle depend on the sensors installed by the manufacturer. The newer the vehicles generally have more sensor and functions.

We do not provide the software to use this on your Android phone or computer and software must be purchased separately from other vendors within the Google Play store or on-line for Windows programs

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing, Does not work

Pros: Arrived quickly

Cons: Rarely am I disappointed, so when I bought this adapter the first time and it was inoperable I thought it must be my bad luck...I mean this thing has a great rating online. So I didn't even go through the hassle of returning it. I just bought another one, this being my second unit. It was no fluke....Second one worked once and the next time I plugged it in it just showed me a red light. Dead...just like the other. After digging into the reviews I see this is a common problem. This product should be pulled. It seems like is a hit or miss, so if you want to gamble give this a try.

Other Thoughts: This seems like a common issue, seller should get this fixed instead of selling defective units.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not connect to ECU

Pros: I have tried everything for a few months and a few vehicles to get this to connect to an ECU. It connects to my phone just fine, but Torque cannot get it to connect to the ECU. I took it apart also to check the solder connections and cannot find a bad solder. Maybe I got a knock off.

Cons: Does not work

5 out of 5 eggsI like it

Pros: Works as advertised (on my '01 BMW 325i). Connects with no issues. Documentation with pertinent info included.

Cons: None. Maybe it's a little big, if I'm being picky.

Other Thoughts: Had issues with a cheap code reader. Would connect sometimes, but would never give me data. This one is worth the cost because it actually works like it should.

4 out of 5 eggsHandy little bugger!

Pros: Small, wireless, connects and reads quickly. Works great for chasing down small issues.

Cons: None really, i wish it read ABS and Air Bag codes, but no biggie for the price.

Other Thoughts: This little bugger works great for day to day issues that pop up on vehicles. I should have ordered one sooner.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: Works well.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Remember, this will tell you information. It only resets your trouble codes, nothing else. In order to do more, you have to buy a good scanner, about $200 and up.

4 out of 5 eggsJust fine.

Pros: Works just fine with the Torque app from Google Play.

Cons: I didn't get a high end diagnostics tool for twenty bucks. Oh, no, that's not a con. That's just life.

Other Thoughts: I've heard from people whose opinions I trust that these generic bluetooth OBD-II devices are hit and miss so I bought the thing planning to simply discard it if it didn't work. It works just fine, so I'm thrilled.

1 out of 5 eggsQuestionable quality

Pros: Not much

Cons: Questionable quality. Pairing code does not seem respond 100% of the time. PIA. Emails to Tech Support have gone unanswered. Will be buying another elsewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks!

Pros: This is easy to connect to the car - my plug is right under the steering wheel. Initial connection to my android tablet was also simple. Found some free applications and am looking for the best paid app still. Good device - works as advertised.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This is handy - has allowed me to calibrate my speedometer. I'm actually off by 2 mph from the car.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't Work as Promised

Pros: Connects properly to my Android phone via Bluetooth.

Cons: Message says it cannot connect to the ECU, the engine computer unit. My car is a 2007 Honda CRV which is OBD II compliant. I followed instructions repeatedly, but this unit cannot read my CRV's ECU.

Other Thoughts: I took the CRV to a Honda dealer where they connected a Snap-On Solus code reader which worked perfectly. A car parts store's code reader also connected properly.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: *PRICE!
*it has a lot of features that even a 60$- $200 scanner does not have.
*to early to say that this is reliable, But I been using it for a little while and it works great.

Cons: *Accuracy on Horse power even when putting in accurate vehicle information into the profile. though everything else seems spot on.

*When scanning or erasing trouble codes seems to take a bit longer than my cheap $60 scanner from autozone. Scanning takes roughly 1-2 minutes.

*You have to pay for the software aside from buying this.
-the base software has just about everything your going to need. But if you want to monitor MPG, then you have to buy the plugin software for that as well.

There are other software plugins you CAN buy, but are optional and only good for the advanced user.

Other Thoughts: I knew about everything in the cons before buying this. I wanted something cord free and able to use my phone for messing with my vehicles. The only real reason i took an egg off was about the software. When i bought the software, i wanted everything to come with the software such as MPG monitor, but that was seperate. S
