Pros: Cheap. Seems to work ok for general picture taking

Cons: Does NOT work for video taking! From what I can tell, this battery can not output a high enough amperage to allow the Canon S100 to take HD video. When trying to take video, the camera will shut down after a few seconds and tell me that the battery is low and should be charged. I can turn the camera back on, and can continue to take pictures, but not video.

I have no problem with the stock Canon NB-5L battery. My guess is that this battery can't put out enough current, causing the voltage to drop and the camera to think that the battery is low.

Clearly this battery is NOT equivalent to a Canon NB-5L

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this battery. I wish I could get a replacement or a refund, but it took me a few months to figure out exactly what was going on, and can't get a refund anymore.

Pros: Work for the first year, but used the original from canon most of the time.

Cons: My original battery from canon still holds a great charge, the Lenmar won't take more than 5 pictures then it dies.
Stick with the canon it will save you in the long run!

Pros: Geat value and quality. I got a new digital camera and from previous experiences I knew I need some back up batteries. The one offered by Canon was quite a bit more than this one, but they work just as fine. I bought two of them and I am pleased so far. No Problems

Pros: Works just like the Canon brand, lasts just as long (if not longer) for a fraction of the price. Highly recommended if your going to be buying a second battery or a replacement battery!

Pros: So far this battery has performed as well as the canon battery that came with our digital camera. As usual the manufacturer claims: "you should use canon products with the camera to avoid defects and damage" but I can't think of any reason why this battery would be inferior. More time will be needed to see how it hold charge as it gets older but my guess is there not be much difference since Li-Ion battery technology is mature.

Other Thoughts: Newegg's price are always super competitive and their service is predictably good = fast shipping.

Pros: Great battery for the Cannon SD700IS! It performs very well, better than the OEM battery that came with the camera.
