It has been accurate in temperature, so far, with everything we have cooked on the grill. Oh, we needed this because we purchased a new grill and it did not have one on it. Cons: None thus far. Pros: Easy to read dial (numbers are big enough). It has been accurate in temperature, so far, with everything we have cooked on the grill. Oh, we needed this because we purchased a new grill and it did not have one on it.
