Other Thoughts: This aromatherapy device is essential if you are a fan of scented candles! First off, I love the scented candles, but they have their downsides which are the expense, fire hazard, soot, and wick management. This aromatherapy diffuser/mister from Aukey solves a lot of those issues with an added benefit! The fact that this is essentially a small humidifier, it augments of the strength of the scents! Low humidity reduces your nose's ability to detect smells (think reduced smell in airplanes and increased ability from showering). Also, with this device, you can mix and max many different kinds of essential and scent oils to create your own blend that is unique to your home/room. Over the long term, the cost is FAR cheaper than getting candles since a small bottle of essential oil costs about the same as a large candle, yet this diffuser only requires 3-4 drop (depending on the strength you want) to give you a whole day of scent. I personally prefer lavender or mint essential oils as they really help to open my sinuses and make my head feel clear. There are almost an endless variety of oils you can get (from bath/body stores, your farmers market, or even at department stores).

The build of the device is good. Everything fits together for a seamless teardrop shape. The base is not actually wood, but I assume it is intentional given the water that is used (wood would distort and potentially rot). Usage of the device is incredibly simple and refilling the device is a breeze. It automatically has a pulse function so you are not continuously releasing scent and overpowering your home and it helps conserve the fluid. There is an auto shut off so there is no waste in electricity. Please note that I was provided a review sample.
