Pros: Looks like samsung earbuds

Cons: Doesn't work, terrible sound quality, mic functions sometimes, rubber ear buds are tough and uncomfortable

Other Thoughts: I got my S5 off newegg and they came with Samsung earbuds. I went around trying to find a replacement pair when my last pair were damaged. I went to Wally but all the ear buds there only had the start/stop remote, I wanted my old pairs volume control and as these looked exactly like my old set minus the Samsung logo I decided to give them a go after all these are a $17 pair of buds on sale for $3 basically. Bad idea.

I got them fairly quick, they looked exactly like the old pair but the first thing I noticed was the rubber was distinctly harder than the original pair, oh well, I plugged them in and geez they sounded like someone got 2 tin cans and ran a string between the 2 and had my phone by 1 can while I held the opposite can to my ear. So the sound was freakin terrible... I could have lived with that, I wouldn't have liked them, I would have replaced them, but I would have kept these as a backup BUT I got a call while I had them on and answered the call and instantly my caller was repulsed and screamed and hung up. I called them back, without the ear buds in, and was shouted at because my caller didn't hear my voice. All they heard was an extremely loud static and feedback sound and not me at all. I did a few test calls to a friend who knew the issue I was having and out of 20 calls 2 I was able to get the mic to work. I have a spare set and to test it wasn't my phone I set the extra set into the jack and made several test calls and every last one worked fine.

Bottom line is this product is not a $17 set of earbuds on sell for $3. This is an over-priced $3 set, put on a huge "sale" to get you to purchase. Do not buy. This is not a newegg issue, I buy from them all the time, love their service but this product from AD is not worth a purchase.
