5 out of 5 eggsPerfect UV light

Pros: -Actually UV light
-Plenty bright enough to light up all UV reactive materials even in my full ATX case
-really creates a vibrant glow from certain objects.
-sound activated, always on, or off. (3 way switch)

Cons: The clear box that you see in the pictures, has a very bright blue light in it. Maybe there is a way to turn the light off, but so far it seems to always be on whenever the switch is in either modes. (sound activated or always on)

Other Thoughts: If you don't have any UV reactive components in your case, this light will do nothing for you at all. However, i found that 3M matte finish tape creates a nice blue/purple glow. Sounds silly, but I applied the tape to the side of my graphics card, and used a knife to carve it to the contour of the card. Really adds a pretty purple glow/look to the card.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Well these things are cheap and that's probably the best thing about them.

Cons: These don't offer much of a UV effect. Even with three of them, my UV parts are barely lit. The converter box is also a big pain with so many wires. The cord from the tube to the box could also be longer it makes installation tricky.

Other Thoughts: These things aren't bad but if I ever found another tube I'd probably stop buying these completely.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Cool but Garbage

Cons: They broke and hour after I installed them , Garbage molex connectors. Cathode tubes a cheaply made. And the are extremely brittle. The velcro that comes with the kit Is Also garbage. I also own a logisys Area 51 case. The light covers were broke when I got it . The LEDS didn't work. The fan didn't work. And the acrylic was broke. I replaced the psu Wwth a cooler master silent pro 600w. As for my opinion Don't buy anything logisys . The brand sucks . There products r garbage as well. I'm 22 and just starting to build a pc. And I thought this was a good buy cuz the price and money is tight. But I was way wrong.

Other Thoughts: Whoever decides to buy this Garbage you must be insane in the membrane, Insane in the brain!

4 out of 5 eggsmakes my UV reative feaser stand out

Pros: it makes my UV Feaser reactive glow blue.

Cons: I should have gotten a dual kit as it dose not light up all the tubes in the case. Other than that. I say this is a nice kit.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to buy another tube to help the other side of the case glow blue from the UV reactive feaser coolant.

5 out of 5 eggsBright

Pros: It makes the whiteboard 16 feet from my PC glow with the UV, even through my case window. Really reacts spectacularly with the neon orange air ports on my 5870 HD.

Cons: The mounting solution (adhesive velcro) Doesn't adhere to metal very well so I end up remounting it every few days. The control unit with the audio sensor gets a little toasty when you run it for hours on end and the sensor is fairly weak so you'll need the control box near a speaker, vent etc. to pick up music.

Other Thoughts: Might have to get 2 more eventually.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh tech knowlege???

Pros: Very nice uv output....UV is NOT visible light! Perfect spectrum for non damaging direct viewing. My uv reactive cables/connectors/sleeving and paint glow quite brightly.

Cons: People who claim high tech knowledge and leave ignorant statements such as "they aren't bright or I thought they were blue" UV is an INVISIBLE spectrum of light to the human eye. It is NOT blue. The original term is "blacklight" which causes UV reactive products to glow giving visible light off themselves. To the people that left bad reviews based on there not being visible light....learn to read, buy a dictionary and do some research before you open your mouth to reveal your ignorance.

Other Thoughts: Incorrect reviews based on having no knowledge of the product nor technical knowledge is funny for a couple of reviews....when the product recieves a large amount of uninformed, ignorant reviews it becomes irritating. New Egg,you should have someone who knows the products filtering that garbage out.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Works as intended. Not as bright as you might think. Can be set to on, off, or various sensitivy for sound control.

Cons: It is a little harder to place due to length. If your buying this for the UV reactive items, It may be better to get 2 smaller ones so you can place them and get a more even UV effect on your reactive items.

3 out of 5 eggsI'ts ok - it's a black light not blue at all.

Pros: It brightens up the case and was an easy install. Makes white shoe laces look cool.

Cons: This is a black light guys. I guess I should have realized by the "ultra violet" wording, but I figured it would look like the picture - dark blue and would match my led case fans better than the light blue would (they are a darker hue of blue). Big mistake. The light is purple, not blue at all - a classic black light. The light is not bright at all. Once you stick it on the case it's permanent, can't remove because Velcro is extremely sticky. The flickering effect is unimpressive.

Other Thoughts: It's OK - it' a black light! I wish someone else would have mentioned that in their review. I guess it's my fault though. Although the install was easy it should have had instructions which it did not.
It's a little juvenile I think.
