4 out of 5 eggsGood.

Pros: They perform well, they go great with my all white build.

Cons: The sound activation is spotty at best. You have to position them just right for them to pick up the sound activation even when playing music really loud. I have a CM storms stryker case and it is meant to be enclosed and silent, so it is hard to get the lights to activate.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: it lights up

Cons: sound reactivity is utterly useless. doesnt react to any sound from speakers unless im yelling at it or i shove it in my subwoofer opening. sensitivity knobs virtually useless. either its on too low to pick up anything or its on so high that its constantly lit.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Pros to this light are the sound activation, brightness, and in my personal opinion the color. I think that as a case light, it does it's job very well. IF you get one that isn't broken... And most definitely Newegg's customer service!

Cons: There aren't any major cons besides that when I was shipped the first light, the actual light tube on the inside was shattered. The box it was shipped was very damaged. I can't imagine it was Newegg though. But the second was shipped just fine and free of charge. Another con are, (as said by many others, the wire lengths), I didn't find it to be too terribly bad, but I think it could've been better as I'm trying to put this light in a Cosair Vengeance C70 case. It creates a problem when trying to keep that tidy, clean, wire cluster free look. Also it seems like one side is a bit dimmer than the other.

Other Thoughts: Newegg's service is just awesome especially when they told me not even to return the broken product and that they were gonna send me another completely free. That's totally awesome. And like I said earlier, the cables are short but they're not impossible, just tinker with it for a while. Besides if you're building a sweet rig that you are showing off all your hardware, you are already used to tweaking the insides so it can't be that bad of an issue. But in conclusion, I would recommend this light to my friends.

1 out of 5 eggsLamp destroyed

Pros: The broken shards of the lamp rattling around inside the housing makes for a good impromptu maraca?

Cons: Besides being used as a wondrous musical device, the light was useless.

Packaging for it was smashed on the top and bottom. The glass inside the lamp housing was destroyed long. It also had large cracks throughout the hard plastic housing itself. The funny part is everything else that I bought with it was pristine along with the box it was shipped in. It was like someone decided to smash the lamp and then throw it in with the rest of my stuff.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, for buying fragile items like this, it's always going to be a roll of the dice whether it's going to be DOA or not. This, though, was an utter disappointment.

4 out of 5 eggsEntertainment value alone

Pros: So I work in construction where I wire stupid LED lights up all the time to cabinets and this I the first one to actually bring a smile to my face. After hooking it up with out a problem to my new computer I got into an argument with my significant other about price of my new computer and so on and so forth to which I actually feel like the light was on my side of the argument. I would raise my voice and she would do the same only the mic pic up and placement in my case according to my fan exhausts panels would only pick up my voice when I talked adding emphasis to my side of the argument. This ended up making me laugh when I noticed it and just making her more angry which is the only reason this case light gets a 4/5 eggs

Cons: won't win an argument

Other Thoughts: come on it's a case light, it does it's job and has selective man voice mode apparently while arguing with women. Looses an egg for cord length but if you're not a woman you can figure it out..... not a comment directed at women just one from a disgruntled man

4 out of 5 eggsNice, clean lighting.

Pros: In my first build I had blue LED's because I thought it was super cool but after a few years I thought it looked kinda tacky. Rather than drown out all your internals with crazy blue light, this cathode gives a clean white light, which I find to be much classier. Definitely brings out your motherboard/cable color scheme if that's what you're trying to go for.

Cons: The rectangular light controller module is annoying as you have to find somewhere to put or hide it. It is clear and has a somewhat bright blue LED in it, which was what I was trying to get away from. But you can just get some electric tape and cover it. If you are trying to go for a super clean build with no protruding wires, the module and the relatively short wire lengths of the cathode, the power and switch) may be tricky to hide.

Pros: Ive had this light for 9 months or so..It is very bright and looks nice inside my Thor II case!
Newegg is still #1!

2 out of 5 eggsConsider yourself lucky if it makes it to you fully functional.

Pros: It's a light. If it works.

Cons: Yea, so I got it, spent 15 minutes putting it in, only half of it lights up. Took it right back out. Bad situation.
