ARCTIC Breeze Mobile USB-Powered 92mm Portable Fan, Portable Cooling Solution, Quiet Fan - White

Pros: It spins, fast. I'm in a rather hot office so it's kind of nice to have -- the fact it's USB and so portable allows a variety of angles to blow air, all in all it's just a fan though. It is almost completely silent however and that should not be overlooked.

Cons: The neck is too short and often contradicts the physics of the blades. No LED (but for the price makes sense) and no control of the speed. It's like using the wind turbines from SimCity 2000 instead of hydro electric powerplants to win over the favor of the local populace. ;)

Other Thoughts: I've seen hundreds of these but I ordered it on a whim, it gets funny looks and so do I, but I just wish it were capable of radiating cooler (and more) air.

Pros: Quiet and Wife is happy!
She gets hot while working with her laptop on her lap and this fan keeps her cool and allow her to direct it where air is needed.
Good velocity and stops if impeded (fingers, clothing).

Cons: none

Pros: The fan works good on my laptop.

Cons: Could move more air its a bit weak.

Pros: very efficient and quiet fan feeding off the usb port,
I've been using it to cool down the hard drives.

Cons: the fan handler could be a little longer

Pros: circulates air effectively in a small area. easy to carry around.

Cons: If the neck would stay where i bend it the first time, i would like this a lot more, but i really have to keep bending it more to point it in a specific direction before it stays. Even then after a while it would sometimes go back to its straight position.

Also while moving it, the hard blades are consistently knocking into your hand because the neck is so short. The blades dont hurt, but a little on off switch could really make that less of a hassle to deal with when you have to keep adjusting its direction.

Other Thoughts: Make the neck more bendy, a tad longer, or put a switch on it and this would be a lot more useful to me then it is now. Im only using it with certain computers that have a usb port facing a specific way due to the neck.

Maybe im just unlucky and got the one that slipped through quality control.

Cons: none really would have preferred to have gotten the choice of a free ac power adapter for the other fan in the combo

Pros: This fan is a really useful piece of equipment- very easy to use with it's posable neck. The fan is effective for single use without being overpowering. I use mine in an open planned office, so was concerned about potential noise. This product is almost silent and does not bother my colleagues. I would buy another one if I needed a similar product and have recommended it to many friends and colleagues.

Cons: The fan speed could not be adjusted.

Pros: Good air movement.

Cons: Knocked it out of USB port and it fell 3 feet and a fan blade broke off making it useless.

Other Thoughts: Had it not fallen it would have continued to be a good fan for keeping me cool in hot factories where I do programming on my laptop.

Pros: This fan is super quiet and keeps me very cool at my laptop. bought it because I wanted to take it to class to keep me cool during the lectures. I can hear it at all and it does the job. great for on the go cooling.

Cons: took of one egg simply because it is difficult to position once on. not much to grab in the back. would be better if there was a little plastic handle to grab to move it around. eventually just grabbed the middle of the fan which stopped it and positioned it just right

Other Thoughts: still a great product. will be trying out the version with a stand later.
