2 out of 5 eggsFan works, hub doesn't, AC adapter not included, AC hole exists

Pros: Fan works, but doesn't blow as hard as the hub-less model from the same manufacturer. if you connect the device to a higher amperage hub the fan will blow more effectively.

Cons: There is a socket in the back of this device for an AC Adapter, but none is included. That means all the devices you use with this hub have to be powered separately like printers, scanners, and full size external hard drives. Flash drives, mini-DVD drives, mice, keyboards, etc.. that draw their power from the port probably won't work properly. Even with the hub's present limitations Windows has a fit when I plug this in to my wife's Intel i series Gen 1 chipset laptop. I have a Rosewill 10-port USB 2.0 hub and tons of other devices that work flawlessly in all ports on her laptop. If they'd included that AC adapter I probably would have nothing to complain about and wouldn't have returned this.

Other Thoughts: The version of this fan without a hub is terrific and is a great travel coolpad (yes I get it's not a pad, it's basically a flower). It's also a great gift as that model is cool techie flower (Item=N82E16800995115).

5 out of 5 eggsgreat fan

Pros: fan is silent I can't hear it at all moves more air than one would think USB ports long cord and has some cord management to make it shorter the fan uses less than 2.5 watts of energy my meter measured 2.2 but I'm going to leave room for some error still less than 3 watts for those who want to know

Cons: the fan could be more powerful to move more air
can't use a power hungry device like a portable hard drive but will power and read four flash drives at reasonably fast speeds
there is not a blade guard so if one were to knock it over say three feet yes it will break
no practical way to hang this from say a tent for camping

5 out of 5 eggsPaperweight

Pros: Blows air.

Cons: For some reason through a joint effort of inadequate advertising and apathy in the supply of accessory parts, arctic breeze has made it absolutely impossible to acquire a power adapter for this, short of going to a local electronics store and randomly checking adapters until you find one that fits. This disappointed me as I bought this to use as a powered hub for 4x block erupters, and instead use this as a paperweight on my desk.

4 out of 5 eggsGood usb hub

Pros: Great USB hub, fast data transfer, fan works

Cons: Fan is kinda small, so if your looking for a fan to cool you off this isn't it.

Other Thoughts: But if your looking for a small fan with usb hubs on it this is the one, it does make an ok breeze too

1 out of 5 eggsMade of what, rice paper?

Pros: Compact, quiet, low voltage.

Cons: I unplugged it and set it on my desk at work. Someone walked by and knocked it off the desk and it fell maybe three feet and landed on the carpet. The CARPET. Two of the blades immediately snapped. Device is unusable. Beware of crappily made miniature fans like this. They also tend to loosen the USB port.

1 out of 5 eggsUSB Hub Doesn't Work

Pros: It looks nice, and the fan is very quiet.

Cons: As the title says, the USB hub does not function as it should. It is little more than a glorified charger. I had originally intended this to be used for my iPod, and printer so that I did not have to reach under my desk all the time.

Other Thoughts: In hindsight I should have bought only what I set out to buy in the first place: a USB hub.

4 out of 5 eggsGirlfriend loves it

Pros: -surprising amount of air being blown
-Works

Cons: Not really a con but an observation from my specific order

-I bought it bundled with the removable mobile version of just the fan stem and if you try to plug that fan into the hub, you have to wedge something under it due to the weight of the fan bending the port.

5 out of 5 eggsawesomely awesome

Pros: Works like a charm, and the USB ports are always a great option on any desk device. Fan is super quiet, and makes a small but noticeable breeze from where i have it 3 feet away. Its also pretty heavy for its size which i like to keep it from sliding around if something bumps into it.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Great gift for someone with a desk job. I have recommended it to friends who also, now have one.
