Cons: Seriously, the sound quality from these is the worst I've ever heard...

When I received two sets of these buds free with a recent purchase, I wasn't expecting much - probably something along the lines of the free iPod earbuds, which suck but are okay for free. Even with my expectations that low, I was disappointed.

They were literally lacking everything that is good about ear bud sound - the sound stage was virtually non-existent, there was no bass at all, the highs were tinny and grating, the mids were totally muddy, etc., etc., etc.

Of course, this was using tips from another set of buds, because the tips that came on these were extremely flat and flimsy, meaning they wouldn't hold their shape well enough to actually stay in my ear. Of course, even holding them in my ear, I couldn't ever get any kind of a seal with them. I've never had that problem with any other set of buds. I've never owned a third-party set of tips or anything - stock is always fine, but not this time.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, I can't come up with a single positive thing to say except for the price was just low enough to justify sticking them in my package. There is no way I would even give these away. They're nothing short of embarrassing, and the marketing guy who decided these would be a great way to increase brand loyalty and recognition obviously never listened to them before making that decision...

Pros: Free is always good as an add-on to another purchase. Inexpensive but more than adequate for occasional use.

Other Thoughts: Although they are not the best, they do what they should do as headphones and came as a free gift.

Pros: the newegg brand name

Cons: The worst sound I have ever hear in headphones. Muffled and hollow... almost like you are under water or something. Threw away after 2 days of use with several devices (just to make sure).

Other Thoughts: Newegg you guys are great and i love shopping with you, but guys these headphones are horrible. Discontinue them immediately and use your name on a higher quality product.

Pros: decent sound quality.
