1 out of 5 eggsgame

Pros: none

Cons: This game is not working properly on my computer. I play a good variety of games but the graphics settings will not switch to 1080 for me. I have switched the settings in my computer, in the game menu and the game always resorts to a lower setting even though everything says it is in 1080. I have tried to uninstall and re-install the game to no avail. I have never had this happen with a game before.

3 out of 5 eggsTough but not impossible to get

I managed to get the game but it wasn't easy! It took me about 2 hours and a half and a lot of reading to get it. My advice to you folks, READ ALL THE FEEDBACK COMMENTS AND READ MY FEEDBACK COMMENT! The feedback comments are super helpful :)

The following steps are exactly what I did in order to get the game:

1. I went to
2. I clicked on “North America” because that's the country that I live in. Make sure to select the correct country that you live in.
3. I clicked on the “Code Redemption” tab on the left side of the page. You can also click on the word “here” where it says “Already have a code? Click here to redeem”.
4. On the “Code Redemption” page I scrolled down to where it says “Have a Code? Enter your details” and I entered my name, e-mail, date of birth, country, and most importantly, I entered the code that arrived in mail with my graphics card. The code can be found on the post card size piece of paper that comes with your graphics card. The code is 24 letters long. Make sure to also include all the “-” symbols when entering your code. Once I finished entering my details and code I clicked submit.
5. After you click submit, a new code will appear. On the same page as the new code, you will get some instructions. FOLLOW THOSE INSTRUCTIONS!!! Those instructions will help you get the game!!!

MORE Extra Advice: When you get to the shopping cart page of the Ubisoft website or the “Uplay” website (I'm not sure what it's called. The page says “Uplay” on the top.) click on where it says “Have a promo code? Click Here to Redeem”. The code that you got in STEP 5 ABOVE goes there! Once you insert the code where It says “Promo Code”, click apply and your balance for the game will turn to zero!!!! YAYYY!! Stupid Ubisoft doesn't tell you where you are supposed to put the promo code. Darn you UBISOFTTT!!

6. After I put in the promo code and my balance turned to zero, I created a “Uplay/Ubisoft” account. I'm not sure whether you have to put in your credit/debit card information or not. I put it in but it turned out I didn't need it.
7. After I purchased the game for free and after I created a “Uplay/Ubisoft” account, I was able to download the “Assassin’s Creed Download Manager”. After I downloaded the “Assassin's Creed Download Manager” I clicked on it and “Assassin’s Creed 3” began to download.
8. “Assassin’s Creed 3” took forever to download. It took about 6 hours for the download manager to download “Assassin's Creed 3” into my computer.

Cons: 9. Once the Download Manager said that it had finished downloading “Assassin’s Creed 3”, I clicked on the button that said “run” and “Assassin’s Creed 3” started to install itself again. I use a windows operating system so after I clicked “run” on the “Download Manager”, the install wizard popped out and started installing “Assassin’s Creed 3”. It took about an additional 20-30 minutes for install wizard to install “Assassin’s Creed 3” into my computer.
10. After the installation of “Assassin's Creed 3” was finally finished. I opened up the program “U-play” which is where “Assassin's Creed 3” is supposed to be and guess what? “ASSASSIN'S CREED 3” WASN'T THERE!!!! That's right! IT WAS NOT THERE!
11. (I'm using a windows vista operating system) After spending a lot of time looking for “Assassin’s Creed 3”, I found it in a “Ubisoft” folder which is located in side the “Program Files” folder. The “Program Files” folder is located in my computer's “C: Drive”. You can access your computer's “C:Drive” by double clicking “My Computer”.
12. After I found “Assassin’s Creed 3” in the “Ubisoft” folder, I clicked on the file that said “AC3SP”
in order to finally open the game.
13. After I double clicked on the file“AC3SP”, U-play opened up and I could finally see the game in U-play. The only problem was that the game now asked for an “activation key” in order for me to play it.
14. I spent a lot more time looking for the “activation key” for “Assassin's Creed 3” and I finally found it on the “Ubisoft/U-play” website. In order to look at your “Activation key for “ Assassin's Creed 3”, you have to log into the “Ubisoft/U-play” website and click on “My order history”, then click on the “Order number” of the game and a new page titled “Order Details” will show up. The game's “activation key” is on the “Order Details” page.
15. Once you have the “activation key” for “Assassin’s Creed 3”, just insert the key where it needs to go and you will finally have the game. ENJOY!!

1 out of 5 eggsGood Luck!

Pros: This is a free game

Cons: Good luck redeeming the code.. Good grief!
First it is a trip to to redeem the 24 digit code that generates another 9 digit code for Ubishop that just plain doesn't work. I have yet to get my free game, as I no longer have the desire to mess with this.

Other Thoughts: Really disappointing...

2 out of 5 eggsMeh....

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I gave it to a friend as I already owned it. She got it to activate after about 2 hours of talking on the phone and getting a new serial number as the one we had didn't seem to work. She never gave up!! lol.

As far as I know she still is enjoying the game.

There is no reason why so many people in this product review section of this product are having so many issues with this. This shouldn't be happening and the game company or Nvidia (whoever is responsible) should be making this easier to do and not as complicated not to mention the errors that can occur.

The Borderlands 2 code activated in less than 30 seconds on steam and I was downloading in about 2 minutes. Playing an hour later if that. That code was easy to activate but STEAM is an awesome program also :D :D

2 out of 5 eggsNVIDIA Gift PC Game Assassin's Creed 3

Pros: -the gift card looks appealing
the dark colors compliments the green colors from the NVIDIA design

Cons: -the game file is 16GB

-Uplay is extremely hard to use (doesn't show up on my game list and therefore, unplayable)

-impossible to re-redeem codes

Other Thoughts: 1 egg for principal and elements of design of the gift card
1 egg for free
-1 egg for 16GB download
-2 eggs for 16GB of unusable data

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I can't give any because I never was allowed to download the supposedly free game I got with the video card. First try didn't succeed, and subsequent tries told me the download had already been done. I guess there really isn't anything "free".

Cons: see pros. I would have given it 0 eggs, but couldn't.

3 out of 5 eggsFree Game

Pros: -Free Game

-Graphics seem decent

Cons: -a bit of a run around to redeem the code. No one tells you what to do to actually redeem the code and it was a pain to redeem the code. See Other for more details

-when you hit download, you're not downloading the game. you download the install files. The install files take up 20 GBs of space, and installing the game takes aprox 20 GB -I say approx as when i hit install It sait it would need 20 GBs on my SDD but only needed 19 GB on my HDD. Go figure.

in addition of the absurd size of the install files, Ubisoft sends thenm to you in Rar files! you then have to use winrar or another program to unzip all the rar files and put them into one folder then you install the game.

After installing you're forced to use Uplay, Ubisoft's game client. If you think these installation games are over no they're not.

when you try to play the game for the first time, you have to put in the product key. the product key for the game is included in the invoice you get after redeeming the game in ubisoft's check out.

THEN you can play the game.

-Idk what the prblem is but after i configured the controls the way i wanted to, I entered the cave in the very beginning of the game and after the cutscene where you open the first door with that weird gold ball thing, the controls messed up and won't work now. What gives?

Other Thoughts: -you redeem the code on the site the card tells you to redeem it on, Nvidia sends you another code. you then go to the store and put the game in the cart. when you go to checkout, it gives you a place to put in a promo code. Put in the code Nvidia gave you in the e-mail for redeeming the'll then be gived a download FOR THE INSTALLATION FILES and an invoice for buying the game.

The invoice you get from ubisoft will hold the game activation key.

-you also get an a-mail saying "thanks for getting the game" and for some reason mine was in French even though i selected my language as english.

Seriously, what with all this "Redeem this code, to get another code, to get another code to get your game"? That's annoying.

5 out of 5 eggsIf you can build a computer you can redeem this

Pros: Like my title says, it really aint that hard. I mean we all should be used to registering for different websites. I found this incredibly easy to redeem. All you have to do is READ the directions which are very clear. So if can install your brand new graphics card, you can easily figure out how to get this game.

Cons: None. Love it!

Other Thoughts: FREE!

1 out of 5 eggsWhy does it even exist?

Pros: Nice graphics.
Looks like fun if it was playable.

Cons: Very painful install process! Uplay temporarily banned me for using the wrong code, which was in my email that I found after I got banned. 1 hour later... yay it works. But the pain's not over! The optimization alone made me uninstall it with FIRE! Perfect example of a broken game right here. You might as well burn it when you see it included in your combo.

Other Thoughts: If you're going to include a highly anticipated game with a med-high range video card, test if the motherf-er works please!
