Culligan RC-EZ-3 Replacement Water Filter The Culligan RC-EZ-3 Replacement Filter is an Original Culligan replacement filter used in the following Culligan Undersink, Ice Maker / Refrigerator filtration systems: US-EZ-1, US-EZ-3, US-EZ-4, IC-EZ-1, IC-EZ-3, IC-EZ-4, RV-EZ-3. The RC-EZ-3 filter cartridge can replace the RC-EZ-1 and RC-EZ-4 filter cartridges. It removes more contaminants than the RC-EZ-1 but less than the RC-EZ-4 Specs: Media: Carbon Block Temp. Range: 40 - 100 F Press. Cons: Doesn't remove all chemicals, although you can't tell by tasting it. Other Thoughts: I brew my own beer, and I live in a city with some pretty hard water, so I need a good filter to make the beer. I use a single gallon of spring water, and the rest goes through this filter. We also drink a lot of water, and the water coming from this filter tastes so much better than straight out of the tap, so we end up using it for coffee and cooking and everything we're gonna drink. Of course the really pure water can only be achieved using reverse osmosis filtering, but that can be expensive and uses a lot more equipment.
