5 out of 5 eggsClarification of other reviews

Pros: I've already reviewed below, but here I am going to purchase another one... and after reading some of the other reviews I have to "correct" them.

1 - "odor". well, it's a SHOPVAC. it's not a dyson. and there is a SLIGHT odor at first but it DOES disappear

2 - hose: it's almost 20 feet... and you expect it to coil easily and in 5 seconds?

3 - filter: it's not "paper". it's rubber and metal mesh, with a porous filter inbetween metal screens. you CAN clean it easily enough. brush it off, then use a gentle flow of water from inside toward the outside and voila. ready to go again.

4 - "falling over" - um, it does NOT have coasters and is supposed to mount to a wall. so yes, if you set it on the floor it will tip. it's tall. (and it will also tip if you set it on the floor and pull the hose... just letting you know lol).

5 - "loud". --- um, have you EVER heard a shopvac that is quiet???? again, this is not a dyson. and actually, it's not that much noisier...

Cons: so yes, I guess I will be owning 3 of these bad boys lol... with the sale price, it is the same cost as the extension hose itself so I might as well buy another!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Vacuum

Pros: Small Size. Great suction for small size. Long-reach hose. All kinds of attachments.

Cons: Still would like another hose for even longer reach lol... some people complain about coiling up the hose, saying it is difficult to do. Well... it's extremely long and you have to ROTATE it while you coil it so it coils. It's not hard, and the hose weighs all of what... 5 ounces? Sheesh...

Other Thoughts: I bought this to install in the hall closet, so I could quickly vacuum dog hair from 6 dogs in the room next door as well as off the couch. It's perfect!!!!! Bought a second one for the garage, and will likely get a 3rd. These are great vacuums. Might even try getting an extra hose to see if I can attach 2 of them together for super-long reach :)

4 out of 5 eggsVac for the Garage

Pros: Mounts and stores on wall (out of the way). Extra long hose reaches everywhere in a 2 car garage. Doesn't need to be emptied frequently. Works on both wet or dry materials. Makes a great gift for the person who has everything. Easy to move when necessary.

Cons: Long hose takes time to coil back up. Paper filter clogs frequently, and when eventually replaced isn't cheap. Can fall over easily when not used mounted on wall.

Other Thoughts: I've had mine for several years, keep it on the garage wall, and like it a lot. It's especially handy for cleaning up after wood working projects in the garage (it finds all of the sawdust!). I even gave one as a gift to my brother-in-law for his garage and he liked it so much, that he bought another one for another location.

4 out of 5 eggsCHEAP VACUUM

Pros: On sale and mine had a rebate. Strong suction. Bagless. Comes with many attachments and a nifty wall bracket. Extra-long hose that is easily shortened. Light weight. Doesn't require frequent emptying or filter changes.

Cons: Loud. Falls over easily and shuts off suction if not attached to a wall with the supplied bracket. Oiled filter emits bad odor while in use. Hose is too long for most jobs making it too much work uncoiling and recoiling it up after each use.

Other Thoughts: Does a great job of picking up debrits. Great value for price paid after rebate. Too bad it stinks of oil while in use. It will make any space smell like you are in a tire store.
