Cons: Rust then painted over. Paint starting to bubble and peal - not very nice

Pros: This unit looks even better in person than it did in the online picture. The installation was so easy I didn't even bother reading the instructions. The unit was well-packaged, so there were no issues with the glass being shipped. For seventy bucks, it is an affordable upgrade for my dining room.
You can also replace the light bulbs without removing the glass dome. Brilliant!

Cons: The only con is that the hangers that hold the glass dome are just hooks, so you need to be careful during installation or when installing bulbs, that you don't foolishly push up on the glass dome because it will come unhooked.

Other Thoughts: This was completely an impulse purchase, which is out of character for me. I was looking for computer parts, and my wife saw this and thought it would look good in our dining room. The price was right so I surprised her by ordering it. The whole installation took about 20 minutes, but I have done this sort of thing many times before. It only requires a stepladder and a common screwdriver. The unit is modular, which makes it easy for a one-person installation, but having a helper is nice if you want someone to hold the weight of the unit while you connect the wires.
