The impact driver is the most handy part of the kit. Super light and much more handy than the 18volt version. It's strong enough to drive 4-6inch lag bolts when mounting backboards into wall studs. Not strong enough for building a deck but for general jobs it's perfect. (phone/network/security/cctv techs) We recently hired a new guy and I got the Co. to buy me a new 12V Dewault drill/impact/light kit. I gave my Hitachi to the new hire but after a week I traded the new Dewault kit to the new guy to get my Hitachi set back. Much better IMHO. I'll buy another just like it if this one ever breaks. Cons: For heavy duty jobs like building a deck go for the 18v or greater. Other Thoughts: light enough to make it a permanent part of your tool bag. Did you find this review helpful?
