Pros: -Perfectly balanced/weighted

Cons: -Adjustable handle cannot be securely locked in to place.

Pressing down on the drill from the top of battery pack will cause it to bend when trying to drill through something with force.
(The adjustable handle stays in place under normal conditions)

Other Thoughts: DO NOT GET THE OLDER MODEL! "DB3DL" (without 2)

THIS IS DEFINITELY THE ONE YOU WANT! "DB3DL2"

The older DB3DL would crack at the adjustable joint and the forward button would break leaving you with only reverse. DB3DL2 is a HUGE improvement fixing all the issues of the previous model and is slightly longer for better balance and handling.

I work at a laptop repair facility and we use these drills every day for 8 or more hours a day. Most days I can go through a single 8 hour shift with a fully charged battery. I then swap it out for the next shift that comes in.

The adjustable handle is a nice feature but I never use it. I wish it had a push button lock to securely lock it into a specific angle.

The rubber grip is comfortable and keeps the driver securely in my hand. I have dropped it before out of carelessness or had it roll off the workbench, but it still works great!

Pros: Holds charge for 2-3 days with average usage of 3-4 hours per day.
Charging time ~30min
Comes with two batteries.
Very light.
Ergonomic.

Cons: Speed change button can be placed somewhere else.
Only one phillips bit.

Other Thoughts: Best cordless tool I have ever used. Will get more for the shop and one for home.

Plastic case is small and easy to keep with you.

Cons: Charger block is a bit big but compared to the rest of the unit and batteries.

Other Thoughts: This is the best portable screw driver that I have ever owned. I do work in the technology field and this has helped greatly for cutting down on assembly time. An electric screw driver like this is a great tool to have. I have never been disappointed by Hitachi power tools and this one is no exception.

Pros: I work on TV's and computers. This is a must have to cut down on assembly time. Cuts job time in half and has a built in light.

Other Thoughts: Super light feels great in my hand.
