1 out of 5 eggsJUNK - do not buy!

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: They ALL will fail
Chinese junk

Other Thoughts: These were just the thing I wanted to replace the energy hog and HOT halogen bulbs. They were great - for a few eeks, then one by one, they all started flashing intermittently until they would fail completely. I bought 5 and ALL 5 had this happen to them.

Don't waste your time and money on these.

3 out of 5 eggsHalf-life of two years

Pros: Nice warm color, low heat generation.

Cons: Out of the four I ordered and received exactly two years ago two of them have failed in the last month. I expect more out of simple solid state devices.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat LED spot light bulb

Pros: Crisp, bright white light, about 50 to 60 degree emission cone, homogeneous brightness in the illuminated area. Operates cool (the bulb itself) and doesn't produce infrared heat that a halogen bulb would generate. Runs off 120 volts line voltage - no transformer or adapter required. The ones I bought in Jan-2014 are UL approved (since that question was asked in the Q&A section).

These bulbs have been working great for me. I bought a few GU10 sockets and built my own fixtures - under-cabinet lighting for the kitchen, closet light bar, desk lamp, workbench gooseneck light. The bulbs are lightweight, ver compact (50mm diameter, about 45 mm front to base) and do not require any external reflectors - the light emission pattern is shaped by the LED placement and built-in reflectors.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Please note that these are GU10 bajonet socket bulbs - take a look at the product pictures. They have two pins that mount in a two prong GU10 socket. If you wnat to sue them in a standard E27 threaded bulb socket you'll need a E27-to-GU10 adapter.

4 out of 5 eggsThey are great BUT!!!

Pros: They are a better option than the halogen versions, cost less to run,and produce no heat.

Cons: The only issue I had was they are not as bright as the halogens I had, and I ended up purchasing four of them and one of the four was a lemon. It would just flash like a strobe light. So I have 3 RLLB-12001 in my fixture and one halogen to light up my living room.

Other Thoughts: Overall they are great lights if you dont get a defective one.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks just fine

Pros: Connects to GU10 with no problem. Much less energy consumption than my old halogens. Much less heat as well

Cons: Just a little less lumens than my halogens. My wife's wedding ring doesn't shine a well under these either. Not recommended for a jewelry store :).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bulb

Pros: Very little heat compared to normal to normal halogen bulb. Using much lesser energy. Bought 3 of these and replaced them all. No more guilt turning them on for longer hours.

Cons: None. Still working fine. May be slightly dimmer than normal halogen bulb but that's ok.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat LED bulb

Pros: These are great. I bought 1 to try when a halogen bulb went out. I replaced all of these types of bulbs in the house I like it so much. The bulbs stay cool and use a fraction of the electricity. I also like the color which is a little whiter (bluer) than the halogen ones.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These will last a very long time. I hope some of the CFL bulbs burn out soon so I can replace them with LED.

4 out of 5 eggsPays for itself

Pros: Took the track light fixture in my kitchen from 400w to 24w. Plenty bright and overall good coloration. Havent had one die in 6 months. Say that about any incandescent GU10 bulb...

Cons: Coloration is uneven between the 8 bulbs Ive bought. Nothing major, but some have a very faint greenish-blue hue. Most are true warm white though

Other Thoughts: The color variation is only really evident when looking directly at the bulbs. The light they cast is definitely a good 2800k~ish color and not blue or green.

5 out of 5 eggsPleased!

Pros: Side by side to a 50 watt halogen, this LED bulb was brighter! The color is pleasing, the bulb didn't get hot to the touch. Wish i had bought these a month ago. Good value (especially at 6.99 when i got them)

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: two 3 watt bulbs replace two 50 watt halogens, less heat, longer life. what more could you want?

If i recall, the packaging actually says the beam angle is 30 degrees, not the 20 shown here in specs. but really, 20, 30... who cares?

3 out of 5 eggsDisco leds!

Pros: lights gave off substantially less heat than original bulbs I had in my light fixture, even though the bulb itself gets extremely hot. No longer feel like I'm under a buffet heat lamp.

Cons: Bought 6 of these in the past year. 3 of them have experienced the disco light flickering described by other reviewers. I have had 2 of them replaced a couple months ago by Rosewill customer service and am in process of contacting them about a 3rd one which has recently started flickering. The flickering has occurred after about 3000 hours, far short of the quoted 25000 hour life of the bulb.

Other Thoughts: I've been looking into other MR16 GU10 led's to replace these as I am not confident Rosewill will continue to replace all the bulbs I've purchased.
